  Well it’s not an unheard of opinion, the team mechanic has been getting a lot of praise. Is this your takeor do you think it’s not quite up there with other kart racers?

  While the team mechanic is good (Except for the Ultimate) , In my opinion Mario Kart still is the better overall racer.
  The handling in Mario Kart is tighter and I feel more in control then in TSR, The power ups are pretty much par for the course in Kart games and for the most part the tracks in Mario Kart are way more memorable and fun.

  I personally preferred Transformed to MK8 due to it being slightly more skill based and TSR continues that trend. That said I think MK8 has a few things it does better like online races in general (and it also has the single player base bonus) but TSR is definitely miles ahead in terms of singleplayer content. But it's a pretty close race either way.
  
  I've been thinking mostly along the lines of "Which is better out of Transformed and TSR" while playing it but I think the same answer applies to TSR vs. Mario Kart: They're both great, but have different focuses. If you don't mind something different and are the type to try and help your friends place well even if it's not a team racer you'll love TSR. If not, MK8 and Transformed still exist. They're both great fun.

  I still prefer mario kart but that may just be nostalgia talking. TSR is pretty good though but im not sure if its better than the previous two.
