Along the coastline to the east lies Galvahal near the river of Toma. Town it self is nothing extraordinary it do provide the basics of a lively community with it's various shops, selection of taverns and houses to those who live inside. However summarized, it does allocate two main districts, one to the north where most villagers reside, only the town's most famous tavern of "River" resides within at the center. Toward the south lies what you'd imagine, the many variants of market stands, specially during seasons when all kind of seasoned travelers come by showing their merchandises. There's also the local town's blacksmith/armorer and then a few other various shops offering provisions, as well some local food from the farms, as well hunters with their wide selection of meat.
Last but not least, there's the tall tower which where the town's famous mages guild reside. You can't possible miss it, being completely opposite from the tavern of River.
Though by no means, what stands out is the castle it self, towering in the background, placed on the hill toward the west, having to cross Toma by the largely scaled sized bridge allowing for safe passage by wast amount of armies, as well many travelers.
Anyway, between the castle and the town, large stretches of fields where most of the local farmers has made their homes, as well allowing for crops to flourish with the nearby water, it is prosperous.
Upon entering the castle, you'll be addressed by at least two armed soldiers, without a certain certificate most citizens aren't allowed to enter, unless said otherwise by one of the main authorities.
Upon entering you'll enter into castle garden, the floor it self is decorated by mostly grass, which has been cut by perfection. Paved roads made from marble which moves in three directions. On the left flank resides one of the main pavilions as well a fountain firmly attached nearby as well tons of flowers and bouquet, it's a marvel to behold for those being allowed inside. Toward the right is one tall tree, it's said to bring fortune, as well a few benches, and more flowers and the entrance toward the barracks.
Toward the left are also the Castle treasury chamber, it's heavily guarded so only a wise fool would attempt stealing anything under the crown's nose.
Move straightforward and you'll enter the main hall, not without a few doors of course, but besides that, there's little to be spared in form of expenses. You'd think the king's mad of luxury with most of the walls decorated. Once you've passed the two main doors, you'll enter the throne room. Pillars on both sides, as well a huge red carpet, stretching toward the far end, where the king can be found during meetings.
Chairs are mostly stacked in one of the corners, as to only be used during certain explicit moments, such as weddings, coronations and so on.
There's two doors, and behind the king's chair is a stairway that can be walked up in ether direction.
Following the door toward the right you can reach the barracks by following undergo tunnels, unfortunate you would have to make it past the dungeons on your way there. Murderous rats, thieves and other criminals all reside down there. But who would want to visit the barracks anyway, it's mostly prohibited, excluding personal.
Toward the left are the servants room. As well the dining hall, that is indeed another marvel, as the table it self can hold more then twenty at each side, including the king and queen's position, if there is any?
You can imagine what's above is mostly private, I can't indulge you any further what's up there, all I can say is, the castle is a must to visit if your allowed an entrance.
Signing off Graham Falcon, writer and scholar.
There's a storm on the approach, it's current day is Wednesday, everything goes on as normal, with one exception most villagers are looking to retreat inside due to the rain. It's only two days before summer season shall have it's traditional gathering of countless of merchants from all corners of the world. None would dare believe that today wouldn't be like any other normal day.
A few guards on patrol making sure nothing unusual goes on. Apart from the occasional drunken fool, there's little in ways of handling with anything major.

It was in an alleyway that the light appeared, unseen by most eyes save for that of a small rat that happened to be scurrying past. Temporarily blinded by the sudden flash of illumination, the rodent scampered into an upturned crate. Had it been been able to, it would have seen a figure slump down onto the slick cobblestone.
The being lay there for a few seconds, the only movement being the light breeze ruffling dark green fur. His first voluntary motion was a light twitch of the ear, followed by a soft moan as he pulled himself up to unsteady feet. He shook his head to clear away the fog clouding his mind. "Whoa... I wish they had told me this would be so... disorienting..."
His mind now clear, he cautiously made his way out of the alleyway. Behind him, the recovered rat peeked its head out of the crate to see that it was a wolf just past the cusp of adulthood that had appeared out of seemingly nowhere. The canine's thick bushy tail lightly twitched behind him as he headed into the town proper.
The wolf slowed to a stop as he felt his heart began to pound. Placing a hand on his chest and taking a slow, methodical breath to try and calm himself down, he thought bak to the reason he had agreed to this mission in the first place. For many generations, his family line had been afflicted by a strange 'curse', as they had long considered it. It wasn't a physical affliction or even a mental one. But an unusual ability that had been taboo up until recently where he came from. Even still, the stigma towards those with his type of 'skill' meant that he would never feel entirely comfortable amongst othters, especially if his family secret ever got out...
Thus, a few months ago when he was approached by a scientist and asked if he would be one of a select few to act as volunteers to test out a time travel machine, the wolf immediatly jumped at the chance. And now, here he was. First things first, he had to find someone who would know the one he was after.

While relatively distant anyone could hear the thunderstorm approaching. Shortly after a light flicker, and then a slow but steadily increasing amount of rain started pouring down. Not looking where she stepped, looking for shelter like any normal citizen would do under such weather, rather roughly so, she bumped into the fellow canine, who's appearance had appeared out of nowhere.
More often so, would one look back, making sure whether the other person would be okay, yet she didn't have even the audacity to do so. Instead, with her already long sized black hood, covering most of her back, as well leaving little for exposure on her identity, only her red bushy tail revealed it self, upon increasing her every step as to avoid any potential confrontation. Perhaps it's her disbelief that this was no more then an obstruction that she simply hadn't spotted while looking for cover. Nor did she ever consider a response in the background, simply decided to ignore such.
She quickly took a turn toward the left at the nearest cross section, already booming with activity near the famous tavern or River, if not being chased down, there's a small chance she would mangle up with the other citizens, quickly erasing her prominent rudeness.
As you imagine, the umbrella hasn't been invented yet, so leaves many becoming soaked by the continuation rain, and lightning flash, creeping ever closer into the middle of town. The wind has also increased substantially sending whatever scraps of paper lying loosely on the ground.
An occasional guard walking past, paying no mind to the fuzz near the entrance toward the inn. Bloody well can't root for the shitty weather which has made his current shift into a soaking experience.
Muttering a few words, incoherent to those not immediately present nearby, "ain't being payed enough for these days." Clearly in an rather bad mood.
An rather random human person runs up to him, as if complaining that she aren't allowed entrance to the inn.The guard literally turned to face her, sneering at her request with great dismay, before literally giving consent as to what he believe she should do, rather then bother him with such menial matters. "As if I care woman, you at least have a home don't you, now be off, or I'll arrest you."

The wolf's ears lightly twitched at the low rumble of thunder in the distance. He looked up to see gloomy gray clouds rolling in above the town. A brief, but bright flash of light followed and the sky opened up to let the rain fall. A few droplets hit the canine's nose - these he swiftly brushed off with a brown-gloved hand. He resumed walking, hoping to find shelter before the storm got too bad.
Passing by a tavern, the wolf couldn't help but notice the strange looks he was recieving from the townsfolk. It didn't really surprise him all that much - he took a brief moment to thank himself for the fact that his outfit, consisting of a basic brown vest, matching gloves and boots, along with a red bandanna wasn't as out of place as it could have been. Of course, it was still easy for anyone to tell that the canine wasn't from around there. Most would just stare and be on thier way, however there was one that completely ignored him.
The young wolf suddenly felt something bump into him. As he staggered backwards, he saw the figure, almost completely wrapped in a cloak. It was the bushy red tail alone that indentified them as a canine much like himself, though he couldn't immediately tell exactly what kind she was. "Excuse me?"
He frowned at the silence that answered him. From the way the stranger was running, she looked to be in quite a hurry, but that was still no call for her to be that rude. He decided to follow she, more for curiousity's sake than anything else. Perhaps she knew where the best place to escape from the steadily increasing rain was. So, he ran after her, the sound of splashing water mingling with that of his footsteps. The wolf followed the figure as closely as he could, nearly loosing her in a crowd when they reached a cross-section.
By this time, the wind had started to pick up and the green-furred canine started to shiver with the drop of temperature that followed. Through bits of paper flying in front of him, he could see the stranger once again. Here, he tried to pick up his pace, second-guessing whether she really did know where to go to seek shelter from the rain.

One brief moment, she turned around, looking. She had no idea this guy would be so overly persistent taking up the chase. All she wanted was to find some shelter, can't help it that people can't watch where they walk, as if she had no guilt. Yet what does it matter, her cloak's all soaked, perhaps she'll have a listen, see what's the big deal, taking this personal.
Taking a sudden stop by the guardsman who's seen better days. "Hey there mista!"
Well aware she'll soon know who has followed her all this way.
Yet she was more intent on letting this man know, that even if he's all suited and armed for matters belonging this kingdom, he can't get away with everything.
Looking straight at her, as if asking for trouble.
"What is it?" Asking rather harshly.
"I need help, this wolf attacked me, shouldn't you do something about this?" Then again, this was her way of getting men in trouble. And she know how to make a difference when in a situation were she cannot escape. After all, she does have that way of flirting her way out of trouble. "If you help me out, I'll make you a treat at the tavern by noon." Blinking twice with one eye, as if dangerous beauty might just be his cue for acting above the law. This was discretely being said, and with the loud noises from the amount of rain coming down, he wouldn't know what hit him.
The guardsman without even hesitating, being corrupt as it is, he took little heed, charging toward the wolf, shouting at first incoherently, which every step made it clearer.
...Woman abuser, your coming with me to the dungeons."
Without looking, she carried on her way, trying to loose her pursuer by whatever means she could come up with. Even jailing the innocent if necessary.

The wolf perked up upon seeng the stranger turn around, for he had hoped she would notice him. When she ignored him and headed for the guard, though, the green-furred canine's ears drooped to the side and he let out a deep sigh. So much for that plan. However, she stopped right in front of the guard and the wolf thought that she might be asking where the closest shelter was. And with the rain now coming down in sheets, surely the stranger would get a quick answer and then the wolf could ask her himself if she passed by again.
And indeed, the two of them were talking about something or other, but with the sound of heavy rain masking their words, the wolf didn't realize that their conversation had nothing at all to do with finding refuge from the weather. Therefore, to say that the canine was surprised to see the guard running hastily towards him would be an understatement. And he became even more so when the guard spoke up;
"...Woman abuser, you're coming with me to the dungeons."
The wolf took an alarmed step back and prepared to make a run fror it when the guard caught up and grabbed him roughly by the arm, causing him to cry out in pain. "Wh-what are you talking about?!"
The guardsman pulled him closer. "Don't you dare play dumb with me, wolf. That woman told me you had attacked her." He glared right into the canine's hazel eyes. "And around here, we don't take too kindly to your type.
The young wolf couldn't believe what was happening. "Now hold on a second! I haven't even touched her! Actually, she bumped into me!"
The guard only laughed at this. "A likely story. Tell that one to the king, wolf." He took out the spear all the guards carried and roughly shoved the side of the wooden handle into the canine's back. "Now walk!"
The wolf looked back to see that the tip of the weapon was now pointing right at him. With wide eyes, he swallowed a nervous lump that had gathered in his throat. And so, with little choice, he began moving, the guard using his spear to nudge the canine in the right direction, the dreary downpour complimenting the wolf's current mood.
DF
Isn't it obvious, as soon the guard apprehended this wolf, she vanished among the crowd with an rather pleased smile on her lips. Of course it's quite unfortunate for the newcomer, but why would she care, it's clear his intentions was off the charts.
On other hand, the guard took pride of his accomplishment helping a woman in need of his assistance, and she promised him a special treat just for him at the tavern. Of course he doesn't have the slightest clue it's all a ruse, and that she'll never turn up. After all, as long she'll be able to avert this fool's eyes again, she'll likely have no further business with this man.
"I'll take you to the castle, the king will decide what we should do with a woman abuser." A smirk on his stupidly broad face, as he knew how well received he'll be after doing something right for once. As you probably expected, he's had an awful reputation of being slack of duty, thus he was demoted patrolling the streets around town, having to be pestered by pointless requests, it wasn't like he'd lift a finger for them anyway. Didn't change that the weather was literally unbearable, the wind was at it's worst, the rain felt like cold icicles, and with the occasional lightning rather nearby, leaving the occasional screams nearby.
Begs the differ whether he couldn't have chosen a better moment transporting this unfortunate canine to the castle it self which lied a good distance from town.
Both soaked to the bones, as they reached the entrance, as two guardsmen appointed securing anyone from entering without permission. "Look who's coming, it's Mr. Grumpy...!"
"Who's that might I ask?" The second addressed the one who has been escorted all this way through the pitiable storm.
The guardsman in questions, (so called Grumpy), "None of your business, I want him brought to the king, he's quite the abductee of woman, I had to apprehend him before he could do something serious."
None of the others seemed convinced, but for what it's worth, one of them decided to ask the prisoner. "Have you any saying about this?"
Immediately, Mr. Grumpy acted, "what does it matter, he's guilty..."
"Silence, I didn't ask for your opinion on the matter. Now?"
Holly
I'll take you to the castle, the king will decide what we should do with a woman abuser.
The young wolf's eyes widened to the size of saucers and he could feel his ears drooping off to the side. Being locked in a dark, damp dungeon deep underneath a castle was the last thing he needed at this moment. And all for a crime he didn't commit? The canine couldn't imagine how this day could get any worse. He shot a brief glare at the guard's smirking face, wanting to say something, but deciding to steel his tongue, for he did not want to come off as aggressive considering the circumstances.
Unfortunately for the both of them, the castle was quite a distance away. The wolf got he worst end of the already short stick, having to endure the series of judging stares from the townsfolk. He kept his gaze firmly to the ground for most of the trip, not wanting to look at anyone else. At one point during the shameful travel, the canine glanced up to see the massive castle looming overhead. He wasn't sure whether he should sigh in relief from having a shelter, or be incredibly worried at the punishment he was going to recieve.
Look who's coming, it's Mr. Grumpy!
Who's that might I ask?
The wolf started to speak, when 'Grumpy' interrupted him, feedin the two castle guards the very same lie he himself had been given. The dark green canine shot a glare at the one who had brought him here, but the reactions from the other two guardsman surprised him;
Silence, I didn't ask for your opinion on the matter. Now...?
The wolf cast a grateful gaze up to the pair of guardsman. "I swear I on my life that I have not harmed any women here. I'm a newcomer. I was just trying to find shelter from the rain is all. This lady seemed like she was in a hurry to find it herself, so I followed her in case she knew where to go." He looked off to the side, ears flattening against his rain-soaked head. "Though, given that she bumped into me without so much as an 'excuse me', perhaps that should have clued me in on the fact that she was not to be trusted..."
DF
As expected, trying to convince he's innocent in the matter. Both guards seemingly trusting, however one of them confirmed the worse, "I ain't one to judge whether you speak the truth wolf, but if what you say is the truth, you needn't need to worry. Bring him to the king, he'll decide whether you speak the truth."
Confident this man was indeed guilty, Mr. Grumpy will happily escort him there personally, however upon passing the two by the gate, the other guardsman reassured they would handle the rest from here. Rather dissatisfied, Mr Grumpy took his weapon turning his back, patrolling back, grumbling a few remarks, but when he was asked, "what's that?", he merely shrugged it aside, "that's what I thought."the other man at the gate confirmed.
With that sorted, one of them, with a full fledged beard, asked the wolf being so kind accompanying them into the great hall where the king and prince will most likely be awaiting. "Behave, that will help your cause on the matter." None seemed convinced this wolf was any woman abuser, but they can't just dismiss the word, even from Mr. Grumpy.
The doors are opened as more citizens, those of high standards looked with dismay upon this newcomer. None but the prince him self came forth, "explain what your doing here?"
Quick to answer, "this wolf has been most likely falsely accused for abuse of a certain woman in town, but we aren't one to judge whether he actually speaks the truth or not, that's why we come."
Seem reasonable like any other explanation, thus he turned around, walking back, taking a seat next to the king him self. Surprisingly though both are of the wolf-kind. An eerie silence among those, before the king ordered the accused, explaining him self once more. Seems most reasonable using the same at the gate. Another eerie silence, as they both decide on the matter whether this newcomer story is legit.
The king him self didn't seem willingly seeing reason, but his son, the black wolf beside him thougth differently. And thus an slow but heated conversation between them started, before both took state in the matter. "So.. My son seems to see your explanation reasonable enough, but I on the other hand wouldn't mind seeing you cast down into the dungeon too rot... However, if you would agree on a certain term, I shall be willing to ignore this matter, as I do have much more important matters to attend to then this bickering dog, begging for mercy." Harsh words, but Valiant Elderhorn IV has always been disinterested on the matters that doesn't have much form in value. "Hear him out, decide whether such terms are liable, and I shall leave you to my son's care. At least until we have actual evidence on the matter."
Shortly after the prince him self said, "hear me out newcomer, during certain investigation are you willing to work as my assistant... Yes, that will include certain chores which I'll explain if you decide the terms are eligible, as that will allow me having a certain control whether these words ain't just for show."
One of the guardsmen seemed more then willing to whisper a few words, "I would take that offer if I were you, it's not pretty, but at least you won't have to be thrown into the dungeons."
