I agree, I think frontiers was definitely the step in the right direction for bringing back multiple playable characters into mainstream sonic games, I know some ppl were really critical abt how tails, amy, and knuckles played in the final horizon dlc but if it means improving those playstyles in future games then I'm all for it; there's also nothing wrong w/ SEGA trying smth and it not working in my opinion either. new and experimental elements in sonic games were such a treat even if they were janky in the long run, seeing what does and doesn't work for a series is important and in the end some of those janky elements actually were fun, ppl were just too harsh at the time  Idea

That's the fun of Sonic games, really. That they're so experimental with the games. It's why Forces was such a disappointment because aside from the avatar, they played it too safe in that game.

A lot of Sonic games deemed really crappy back then are getting a resurgence like Sonic the Fighters, Sonic R and Sonic Labyrinth from people willing to sit down and learn those games, said games being some of the most experimental in the franchise and that experimentation turns out to be loads of fun.

So again. I pick interesting and wildly out there ideas that have some jank to get used to over a technically polished game that doesn't do anything interesting any day. Its why I and many others love Sonic, for crying outloud!

I just started playing Sonic Generations on PS3 and I think it is really enjoyable.

I think that is highly possible, specially if are 3DS exclusive stages or maps.

Also, there is potential for DLCs.

Oiy, that is the version I have too. Of the boost games it is my favorite. Hopefully they have a 120 fps mode in the remaster.

I think outside of Green Hill that all of the 3DS stages are different.

This is exactly what I'm looking forward to seeing. I hope they are very serious with getting it down because I would definitely love to get some playing content on DLCs.

It surely has potential for more DLC. I would like more characters to get the Generations treatment. Knuckles Generations, anyone? Big Grin

Sonic x Shadow Generations has been rated E10+ for fantasy violence; the original Generations was rated E for cartoon violence so I wonder what's changed Idea
