Now, honestly, there's a lot of stuff to be loved about Frontiers. The concept of an open world in a Sonic game is intriguing. There's this aura of mystery I'm loving so far, like they don't want to spoil the story at all.
However, some animations still feel stiff to me, and the popping isn't an issue in the first zone, but might be a problem in more difficult areas. Won't criticize the lack of music since I expect them to add it once the game is released.
What I get is that Sega wants to show stuff, but is trying desperately not to show the best of the game. Risky move, ngl
