One month until release date! I might be getting it as soon as it comes out. I'm looking forward to running around and exploring the world and beating up the new enemies. -

I'm sure you all have bought this game by now. I'm absolutely loving it, what a nice breath of fresh air and it's pretty good as well! -

So I took a break from visiting the forum until I finally beat this game. As I expected, I enjoyed the combat and running around the different islands. I liked leveling Sonic up, collecting Koco (such cuties) and doing the puzzles to complete the map. Even the fishing spots were a fun, albeit quirky way to shake up the gameplay. Story was okay, too. Loved the enemy designs, loved Sage. My biggest complaint is the low quality graphics, but I think it's because I played on the Nintendo Switch, since I've seen videos of prettier footage on other people's games. Though I heard pop-ins were a common eyesore to everyone.
I am glad they've been adding updates to the game since its release. The last one was in honor of Sonic's 32nd birthday and apparently there's another big update coming later. Now that I'm done with my first playthrough, I look forward to having another reason to come back again.

I have it on PS5 and while it looks pretty good, the pop-in is still pretty bad. I hope that some day that is fixed but it doesn't really bother me that much.
I started over to unlock everything(just basically did the story stuff at first) but did so just a few weeks before they launched new game + so I missed out on that. Glad they added the spindash but takes a lot to unlock. -

Has anyone beat unlocked the spindash yet? I started over and am still on the second island. I need to unlock everything but it's a slow process. Can't wait to try the new DLC, but I hear that even on easy it's hard. -

Okay, so good news here: There's two ways of unlocking the Spindash. The original (and most tedious) way is to get an S-Rank on all time trials.
But, the third update added another way. Go to Ouranos Island, and start the DLC story. That gives you the Spindash for free. Then you can travel back to the main story, I think. -

Oh thank goodness, less of a grind! I forgot, but what island is that? That's the fourth island? -

Well, Ouranos is the 5th (and final) island in the game, but it's only the 4th full island. Rhea is really small compared to all the others, and lacks collectables and Cyberspace stages. It's more like a second half of Kronos than a unique island, especially because it is, in fact, physically connected to Kronos. -

Sadly I still haven't played this one yet. *fingers crossed for Christmas*
