all in all sonic riders was a really cool, both in the art and aesthetic, and in the idea of "sonic and friends riding on hover boards and air skates" it was so... sonic. and I'm glad the extreme gears are still being used and referenced in sonic media outside of the games
The whole concept of hover boards and air skates is so 90s. It is cool. I just think it is sad that that style of XTREME is not in style these days. Extreme sports was the epitome of 90s and early 2000s but slowly died off. -

it is! it looks like whisper has the angel devil gear from zero gravity, while tangle is using grinder (?) from riders, and lanolin is using heavy bike from riders

looks like tangle and lanolin have their own redesigns! tangle has the basic shoe, glove, and glasses change like sonic, and lanolin has her own heavy bike, fits her personality and such. -

it is very difficult to contain my excitement w/ how much fan service we are getting w/ this mini series, I've been really happy seeing classic zones actually being used compared to the unique zones in the anniversary comics
another interesting thing is in the solicitation for issue 4 of fang the hunter (posted by IDW Sonic News on twt) it claims that it's the "first classic-era mini series" meaning we'll see more in the future aside from the anniversary comics we've gotten!
