Preorders are starting this month for Xbox and PS5. (Still waiting on that PS5 price...
). My plan is to sell my old console to offset the price by $200 and a bunch of old games for an additional $50 and get one maybe not at launch but around launch.

Games in general are going up in price which sucks but we've been at $59.99 since 2005. We're lucky they stayed the same for so long. I plan on going with the disc version because I have a lot of PS4 games I will want to play on it without having to buy them digital. However I do buy digital a lot now too because of the pandemic and because it makes remote play so much easier. You can't change discs while playing away from home. Also for 4K blu ray movies.
That said pre orders went up early and they're all sold out now. I'm so upset I couldn't reserve one at GameStop. >
Or anywhere for that matter. I'm looking forward to Spider-Man Miles Morales and Sackboy the most for launch games. After that Gran Turismo 7 will be a graphical powerhouse and I love those games. Here's a video comparing the original Demon's Souls to the remake.
