  There are a lot games, and many of them have more than one in their franchise, but what made you a fan of a game series?
  
  My favourite gaming franchise is The Legend of Zelda, but I didn't become a fan of it until later. The first game I played in the series was The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess on the Nintendo Wii, and I thought it was really good. I got Ocarina of Time on the Wii Virtual Console and I thought that was better, and for sometime that became my favourite game in the Series, until Breath of the Wild was released.

  I think I got into Zelda through word of mouth; I had an N64 so I decided to pick up a copy of Ocarina and PAL version aside, it became my favourite video game for a good few years, until I ended up playing Bully. After that it remained my favourite Zelda right up until MM3D rolled around, and needless to say, I enjoyed my time in Termina waaaay more than my time in the vast, empty expanse that was Hyrule in OoT.
  
  For Pokemon, it was around 2012 that I got into the series. I had played a couple of hours of Pokemon Red through an emulator, and I had mildly enjoyed it. Fast forward a few months and I was on holiday with my family in Cornwall when I saw an AD for White Version 2 on TV. That game looked absolutely enthralling to 9 year old me. Next time I went to a store I picked that game up straight away and the unfinished yet memorable journey I took across the Unova region was enough to sell me on Pokemon all the way up to Gen 7, by which point I had fallen off the hype train and didn't get either Sun or Moon.

  Another one of my favourite game series is uncharted, but it wasn't at first. When first got my PS3, I didn't have many games for it. I got Uncharted Drakes Fortune, but I didn't like as much at first, and I got stuck at the part where you find your crashed plane, and you had to fight lots of enemies. I kept on getting killed, so I stopped playing it, I only got because it looked okay and I didn't have many games at the time. Later when I saw the trailer for Uncharted 2, I thought it looked awesome and if I wanted to understand the story better, I had to play the first game. So I did and it was a lot better than I thought it was. I got passed the part I was stuck at, and the game got better as it went on. Eventually I completed the game and became a fan. The trailer for Uncharted 2 got me into the series, and when the second game got released, that was even better than the first game.

  Yeah Drake’s Fortune was the hardest of them all but I loved it. It’s the game that got me into the series and it had the best story of them all imo. It was good but not great, a good first attempt at a more realistic approach imo.

  I still haven't played Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy, but so far all the games have been really good, although Uncharted 3 is my least favourite. It was still an okay game, but I didn't think the story was the best.
