Hello, I'm OokamiJ/Julie - no preference on either name so feel free to flip between the two. (might be more leaning towards username but that's mostly me). Been a longtime dweller of the interwebs since about early 2000s or so. I vividly remembered browsing through the older version of Sonic HQ in my younger years and loved scrolling through the information on Sonic CD and the 8-bit Sonic 2. I'm hoping it was the same as I remembered the Sonic 2 playing the Green Hills Zone midi in the background as you visited the page. If it's not, oh well. Still stands as I've been a fan of the franchise longer than that.
I haven't really figured a lot of the workings of the forum out yet as trying to open the options gives me a 500 error, so if nothing else I can at least put in the introduction post while its still on the mind. Big ol' night owl user but I have been trying to be a bit more active in the day time as well. Right now, I had been busy doing more reading (non-Sonic related) as well as playing some games and draw (also not Sonic related).
Favorite character from the series constantly changes a bit: I do like some obscure characters such as Bunnie the Rabbot and Scratch from AoStH, Mighty the Armadillo, Tikal. Although my favorite has to be Tails himself.
Almost always played as him as a youngster if I could get away with it. I do sometimes forget things so if we talk feel free to remind me if needed.

Hey, welcome aboard! We're not super active these days mostly due to Reddit and social media replacing traditional forums over the last several years, but we like having the smaller, close-knit group, so no pressure when it comes to engaging with the forum.
Reading anything good lately? I've been reading the Sonic IDW comics lately, but kind of want to crack open a good long book now that it's summer. -

I haven't really figured a lot of the workings of the forum out yet as trying to open the options gives me a 500 error, so if nothing else I can at least put in the introduction post while its still on the mind. Thank you. I kind of understand that but it just seems like social media overall has been declining in quality lately - at least I think. It does explain the reason for me jumping into the forums lately but I honestly like the old fashioned way the forums had with their charm.
Recently, been reading some books I never got to as a kid for personal reasons but one I had finished was The Short While by Jeremy Sorese. It does have some elements of dystopian future that feels eerily similar to what is going on nowadays but it still kept my interest long enough for me to read it the whole way through. A lot more different that my usual readings but a good one nonetheless.
I had only read the first IDW comics, and had heard some mixed opinions on it for the recent ones. I do remember having some bits of the Archie ones but otherwise, I admit to being a bit more into the games and some of the cartoons a bit more. -

I recently fall for Reddit, but surely over time it gets tiresome, the algorithm always seems to fall for sharing low quality content regardless of the social platform...
It indeed feels like it is dystopian or the end of the world everyday sooner or later in these platforms…

Yeah, I think you're right about social media in general. Especially Facebook and Twitter. I admit to not being a big reader lol. I tend to stick to the games and a couple of the shows too. Truthfully, I only read the comics just to pass the time. I have a big hardcover book that features the first volume and it's a good coffee table book, and I like the colors and art design, but I don't follow the series as closely as other Sonic fans do.
