Hi there, my name is AceTiff12, or Tiff for short. I found SonicBlast.org when I was feeling nostalgic for Ye Olde Forum Days. I frequented them when I first got started in fandom, but never joined a Sonic the Hedgehog one until now.
I've known Sonic nearly all my life, and got back in the fandom a few years ago. I enjoy making and finding fanworks, playing the games, watching the shows, and purchasing Sonic merchandise when I can.
Things I love about the Sonic series

Welcome to the forum! Same here I've had Sonic since I was 5. Sonic 2 was my first game.

I hope you have a lot of fun posting here! I can absolutely relate to nostalgia for Ye Olde forum days. That is actually one of the reasons why I found this forum as well.
That's really cool hearing about your interests in Sonic and the fandom! I particularly relate to this line:

While I definitely agree with all of your reasons for loving the Sonic series, this particularly speaks to me. These and other fundamental and quintessential themes portrayed throughout Sonic media are among the greatest reasons why I love the series and its world, characters and stories so much. I love the themes of world beauty, joy in life, relation to others and the world, freedom and justice. I love the various locations Sonic and friends explore and the interesting ways in which these and other themes are explored across countless domains.

@"Metallix": I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm excited to watch it when I get the chance.
@"Infinite": Funny you should mention that; I don't really consider Sonic Forces to be my favorite Sonic game. It was just the closest thing on the list available. I've only played a handful of the games, and Forces happens to outrank the others. I've seen all the games in action thanks to YouTube, but when I pick a favorite, I want it to be something I played firsthand.

@"AceTiff12" Oh yeah I'd definitely recommend watching the movie. Maybe rent it from a streaming service? It's pretty good even if you aren't a Sonic fan, I was genuinely surprised! Any other hobbies you have? -

Hey, that's a good idea. My birthday's this Saturday, so renting the Sonic movie would make a good present.
Here's a list of my hobbies, though most of it is just being a part of fandom/size]

I love to write fanfics. I'd say it's my best skill, and I have a Bachelor's degree in creative writing. I like to write simple and lighthearted stories.
- Reading
I love reading as well as writing. I mostly stick with fanfics, but I do like some regular fiction, too.
- Art
I'm an amateur when it comes to drawing, but I enjoyed doing it. Recently I've been losing interest in putting pencil to paper and am starting to drift into different ways to make a picture, like arranging premade pieces (sprites, models, etc.) together into something new.
- Animation/Making Videos
I'm not too good with animation either, but it fascinates me. I like editing a video together as well. I used to make AMVs but now I'm leaning more toward making video stories.
- Gaming
I love videogames! I use the Playstation 4, the Switch, a 3DS, my phone, and my PC. Some games I like include Animal Crossing, The Sims, Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds, Spyro the Dragon, Dragon Quest, Jak and Daxter, Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, and Pokemon.
