Giving a Game a Second Chance

Have ever played a Sonic game, and at first you thought it wasn't good because of the controls or it was difficult. But then you give the game a second chance and you end up thinking it's pretty good.
One of the Sonic game's I wasn't a fan of at first was Sonic CD. I never had a Mega CD/Sega CD, so the first time I played the game, was when it was released as part of the Sonic Gems Collection. At first I didn't like it as much as the other classic Sonic games. I didn't like the spindash where Sonic had to build momentum to use it, where as in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic could do the spindash a lot more easier. The soundtrack was great, but the gameplay I didn't like. But I tried Sonic CD again and I got more used to the gameplay and I thought the game got better. It's a good classic Sonic. I don't think it's the best classic Sonic game, but I don't think it's the worst either.
