First look at Uncharted movie.

So what are your thoughts on this? Tom Holland as Nathan Drake seems like a bad casting choice but the pic doesn't look too bad and according to rumors it's supposed to be an origin movie with Nathan when he was younger. That could work. With how shakey production has been till now I'm not holding my breath on it being good but hopefully it will be.

I don't really know much about the Uncharted series so can't comment much, but I have been curious about its story. I didn't realize the series was popular enough to warrant a movie so I'm interested in seeing how it performs. Have you played those games before? Would you recommend them? -

Since Uncharted 2 it's been pretty popular and only increased. Uncharted 2 was well ahead of its time and influenced a lot of game since. Uncharted 4 has sold over 17 million copies since we were last updated about it last year.
As far as the games go I'd recommend them. They're adventure games inspired by the likes of Indiana Jones and older movies. The first one is a bit rough because it's so old though.

I'm just hoping the movie captures Drake's carefree personality and the action of the games. -

I've never played the Uncharted series but hearing Tom Holland chosen as part of the cast is an...interesting choice, to say the least. -

For me, it's the humor both Nathan Drake as Tom Holland and Victor Sullivan as Mark Wahlberg brought to the movie that made it fun for me. The movie is supposed to have a sequel but we haven't heard anything yet.
