It runs on my laptop but I have to turn it down since default are Ultra High.

It's not a UE4 problem since I can run a game like Deep Rock Galactic just fine.

Although I run a pretty damn old AMD Radeon HD 6570, I can bet it has to do with some corrupted DLL problems I've been having for a while and, for the sake of being transparent, never really bothered fixing. It's not the only game that doesn't run due to these issues but it is the first that outright locks up my computer.

I'm not at all tech savvy on this kind of stuff so I'm kind of hesitant in trying to sort these issues out myself in fear of just messing stuff up even more.

Ah, I see! Yeah that could be it. I'm sorry it doesn't work for you. I downloaded it last night after I saw this to try it.
@ Wine does work on Mac. It allows you to run Windows programs on Mac if you want to try it. https://www.winehq.org/

I ended up playing a match just now and it takes some time to get used to but it's really well done! Everyone has their own moveset s and voice acting. Lots of stages from the games. Pretty well made if you ask me!

Holy crap this is cool! I would not mind another in the style of smash but with ALL sonic characters.

This actually looks like something Sega could have made. Very impressive.

It really does. I've been playing it a bit more and it is pretty awesome! I love the variety of levels they have for it. And being a fighter, it doesn't need a lot of power to look good since there isn't much to render. Sega should think about making another fighting game based around Sonic.

That would be cool. Sega has tried a lot of things with Sonic. Sonic the Fighters, Sonic Battle, Sonic R, Sonic Chronicles. Maybe it's time to explore some possible Sonic spinoffs again. How about a sequel to Tails Adventure for the Game Gear? Ok, I know that last one is really reaching lol.
