  Since we weretalking about it I looked it up and just wondering if anyone has tried it? I am downloading it right now.

  I have always felt 06 was a good game behind all of the glitches and terrible loading times. It just needed another year of polish to iron out the glitches.
  
  Also, IMO, this was Sonic Adventure 3 in all but name.

  Oh man, I've been playing P-06 for a while now and man is it well made. It's not only a more polished '06 but also adds back a bunch of cut dialogue (of which '06 has a lot) and even custom cutscenes at times. There's no bosses and final story yet, but it already has the three main campaigns, so you can get some good hours of gameplay off of this, and getting S-ranks lets you unlock gems for the real fun to start.

  Man after my own heart. I wouldn't go so far as to say '06 was good, because... I mean try and play it for like ten minutes. But I still respect the heck out of it for all of it's ambitions that it just didn't have enough time to fulfill. I don't say it's objectively good but I'm still one heck of an '06 apologist.
  
  And the evidence for it being Sonic Adventure 3 is all there. One storyline you get to play from different perspectives, all with different gameplay styles you switch through, all ending in one big final story and ending battle with now three super hedgehogs. I believe it does deserve the title of SA3 despite it's quality.

  I want to make the case that Sonic 06' can be seen as a natural step forward from Sonic Heroes, in my opinion. But personally, I think Sonic 06' holds a special place in the series and is more than just a game. On the flip side, Sonic Heroes fits perfectly into the niche where fans have been longing for a Sonic Adventure 3 experience.
  
  
  
  I've always been someone who staunchly defends Sonic 06', considering that the developers rushed its release for the hedgehog's 15th anniversary and didn't have enough time to polish it. This rushed launch led to certain flaws and imperfections. I think that with more time, Sonic 06' could have been great game to the Sonic franchise.

  My PC barely runs this well on medium. It is good but we have like another 4-5 years before it is completed with bosses and such.

  I would say it is good just underneath all of the glitches and junk.
  
  I just downloaded all 3.8 gigs and it works great on Linux Mint through proton. With everything turned down to medium the framerate is decent on my laptop with integrated graphics.

  Same here but I have to put the resolution way down to help.

  I've been having fun with it. This is always how I pictured the game in my mind when they were showing off promotional material.
  
  Also glad my laptop can handle newer games like this. On Linux it works great and Lutris helps set it up so easily.
  
  Also crazy to see there are mods for this too.
