The classics are the way to go for me, the classic designs are just so huggable.

It's a bit of a mixed bag for me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't slightly prefer Tails and Sonic's (maybe Amy's too) classic designs over their modern ones slightly. But at the same time, I like Knuckles, Vector, Charmy, Espio, and Eggman's modern designs better than their classic ones. I'm fine with either set, to be honest, there are just some I prefer over others. -

Each style is definitely unique. I mean, going back to the original 16-bit, that's REALLY impressive for the time. Then classic(cover design, Sonic Mania Adventures, NOT 16-bit) is nice, simple, and round(GREAT for drawing...haha) I draw modern the most. Oh, there's also the various 3D designs IN the modern era, crazy how the quality improved on those over time.
