Did you like the human parts of the movies?

Rumor is that there will be less human interaction in the 3rd movie due to an actor strike during filming. Would this matter to you? Did you enjoy the human parts of the movies and would you be upset if it was more about the CG Sonic characters? -

I'm mixed on this. The second film in particular felt like the human parts (the wedding scene and the dance scene) were incredibly disconnected from everything, and could have been omitted fairly easily. They felt like padding.
But, they've chosen to adapt SA2 for the third film. And humans are very important to the story of SA2. So, I'd be fine with human scenes in the third film, provided they actually advance the plot, and build off the story of SA2. -

The wedding scene was okay but the dance scene was a bit disconnected, I agree. I don't mind the human parts though but I think they were done better in the first one, thankfully it was less in the second or at least it seemed like it was. -

I think they bring a nice change of pace but that said they could utilize side characters for that if they had to go without actors for a majority of the filming. -

Nah, The people parts we're Okay, at best, but I felt they needed more characters from the actual sonic universe. Shadow and Fang, *cough cough* -

The wedding scene was more of a link to the next part, I mean there should be some explanation or introduction for characters, but the dance scene I agree was kind of unconnected, perhaps for fan service purposes regarding the music (pop).
What I felt really off was the interaction between actors and characters. I'm talking specifically about James Marsden's performance along Sonic..
The films were OK to me but I think they can do a bit better. -

I did like the bar scene in the first one but the dance scene did feel like filler. -

I mostly agree. I don't mind the human parts but the real engrossing part is with the characters. Maybe if they gave the humans a better role like they are there to help the audience understand the situation better?
I think they can and will do better on the third, I hope this is their masterpiecemovie. Considering they convinced carry not to retire over the plot, they have something special in store! -

I didn't mind the human parts in the first movie, but the wedding scene from the second movie could have easily been removed. -
