Darksiders Series

With two games and a third one, about to be released. I have played the first two games and I think they're great, although the second game is an improvement other the first, with the open world and it was like an RPG. But the first game is a good start to the series. I'm currently playing through the Warmastered Edition of Darksiders, and I'm in the Iron Canopy, where the fourth boss is. This is the first time I've played the upgraded version of the first game for current consoles and PC. But when I play Darksiders II the Deathinitive Edition for the first time. I don't know if it will have the same impact as the remastered version of first game. I first played and finished Darksiders II on the WiiU and that version had all the DLC, so the only difference I might see is the graphics might be better.
What does anyone else think of this franchise?
