For the entirety of the Sonic Series, Eggman has given us an array of boss fights that are fun, but there are those that are so bad, it makes us want to throw the controller. Which ones do you consider are the worst Eggman boss fights you've encountered?
I have a few, but the worst for me are every single bossfight in Sonic 06-Egg Cerebus, Egg Genesis, and Egg Wyvern. No matter what character you play as, all three bosses are a pain to fight against. Its nothing but a tedious waiting game that takes way to long which leads to frustration and boredom, and the controls and the wonky camera angles certainly do not help. Out of all of them, the Egg Wyvern is the worst. It feels like a rehash of the Egg Viper Boss fight from SA1, but the difference is that the Viper was fun to battle against! -

To me, the worst Eggman fight in ALL Sonic games was the Underground Zone boss in the GameGear version of Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
It was that... thing that looked like a... thing that dropped bombs... It's supposedly called "Antlion Mecha". And it's TERRIBLE.
The design is ugly, simple... heck you can't even see the actual robot. The physics in that fight play against you. You have NO rings, so one hit and you die. And, for some reason, Eggman saves Sonic from drowning in the lava... just to torture him with this encounter! -

what about the broken Egg viper fight in SA1?
Yeah its bad in every port of SA1 I am aware of.
It was okay in the dreamcast version but the ports of it goofed up and its so easy to fall now in the fight.
The only real way to beat it now is to use a cheat on PC -

What exactly is wrong with the ported versions? I don't know if I remember, I only remember the DC version. -

The homing attack is borked in the ports, its really bad in the PC version which is a port of a port.
Portception if you will
The gamecube port doesnt fare too much better but it doesnt have the homing attack bug as bad.
