Y'know, that may be what the Switch Pro will be. It may just be exclusively for the TV so it could handle better graphics, not worry about battery consumption, and overheating.

I'm unsure how I feel about a Switch TV. On one hand, having more power to handle bigger games would be great! But on the other hand, it would probably feel like something inferior to what Microsoft and Sony are already leading on these days! Nintendo would have to massively overhaul things to pull it off, or tie in a new gimmick to it that would draw more interest. Such as allowing those with a Swtich or Switch Lite to pair to the Switch TV and have some kind of Wii-U esk dual screen experience for maybe extra content or something. Hard to say though.

Man I miss the GameCube days when Nintendo was on par power wise with the other consoles.

I know they have to do handhelds these days because their home consoles didn't sell well but back then they had a lot more 3rd party support.

They were still a little bit behind on Gamecube, but only marginally so. They could have kept up and possibly blasted ahead if they pushed that way, but they fell into more focus on the handhelds and gimmick consoles like Wii, which, while it did pay off, it left them in the dust for console power!

So...today is DAY 1 of E3 2021! The most notable is that Ubisoft is holding a Ubisoft Forward presentation.

    Who's watching it?
