What games do you go back to consistently?

What Sonic games do you consistently go back to regardless of how many times you've played them?
For me it's Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Beaten them both hundreds of times but I will always go back and play them from time to time. -

Sonic Adventure 2 is the most obvious choice, but there are a few others. SA1, Sonic Robo Blast 2 (It's a fangame), Terraria, Plants Vs. Zombies, and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance also come to mind. -

I was talking about Sonic games exclusively but I didn't specify, sorry. Man I really need to get back into SRB2, it's probably a lot different since 14 years ago. haha -

I find myself going back and playing Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Sonic Adventure quite often. Sonic 3 and Knuckles is my favorite game of all time, every once in a while I'll play Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles separately but it's rare. -

I always ALWAYS go back to Sonic Battle for GBA, that's my number 1 and I replay it at least 5 times a year. I'll replay Sonic Advance 2 once a year too. -

Any of the old 2D sidescrollers from the 16 bit era. Sonic 1, 2, 3 etc... Sonic Adventure is easily my favorite 3D Sonic game and I revisit that one from time to time. -

I always go back to Sonic Adventure 1 as well as Sonic Generations. Generations gives me a new updated experience of the older games which I wasn't around when they came out. I've played the old games but Generations just feels more modern to me. -

Those are all good, do you have a favorite out of those classics that you go back to more than the others or is it pretty even? -

I'd say it's fairly even. Sonic CD though might be my favorite of the bunch. I always liked how it gave you the option of collecting the time stones or scouring the levels for the robot generators to get the good ending and of course the music. Maybe the best video game music of that entire era and yes I prefer the Japanese soundtrack but the US soundtrack still hits hard.(11-26-2023, 08:56 AM)BurningBlaze Wrote: Any of the old 2D sidescrollers from the 16 bit era.
