SEGA and JAKKS will design, develop, and manufacture action figures, plush, playsets, costumes, costume accessories, and more for the 2024 Q4 product range. What would you like to see?

Personally a Shadow Halloween costume for adults would be great.

That would be pretty cool! This is my most anticipated movie right now. Sucks we have to wait soooooo long!! At least there's that Knuckles show before then.

As for merch, I'd like to see some Shadow themed Adidas or something. haha

Alright, now time to play the guessing game! What major plot point of the third movie will inevitably be leaked via the toyline? I'm guessing Super Shadow or Black Doom.

I think it'll be a new unannounced character. The first movie hinted at Tails but we knew nothing about Knuckles other than the echidna were at the beginning. The second hinted at Shadow so I suspect there will be another new surprise character. Maybe Chaotix?

If I had to guess, I'd say Amy or Rouge. I imagine they'll want to add a female member to the animal cast, and those two seem to be the most likely candidates for that. I certainly don't think they'll be adding them both, though. I don't think they'll have the space to explain both of their backstories plus Shadow's, and still have the space left over to form a coherent plot.

Budget is also an issue, I guess. At some point, they might want to switch to fully-animated movies, because these live-action styled CGI characters are probably going to start cutting into the available funds as they add more and more of them.

Honestly, I'd prefer a fully animated movie. Although Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik is awesome and we'd lose that animation in a fully CG movie.

Budget is an issue but both movies did so well I don't think they're worried too much. I bet the third movie has a larger budget just due to both movies proving to Paramount that they're bringing in profit.

I saw some people speculating Metal Sonic being in the movie but idk. I have a feeling that putting shadow and metal sonic in the same movie would be difficult without having one ruin the other's screen time. the movies are a chance for these characters to be revived to their full potential. metal sonic needs another chance to pose a real threat to sonic. and shadow needs to be more than just a regular side character. it's possible to pull off having both of these characters in their full potential in the same movie, just difficult.
