Nope. It's actually Boom Shadow's theme from Rise of Lyric. This is shown in a variety of ways. The first two sentences are very similar to that of what Shadow said before the fight begins: "Saving the world? You? Don't make me laugh." The third sentence is a reference to that one time he talks about how Sonic's craftsmanship is an insult to hedgehog kind. The fourth sentence is straight out of what Shadow says before the fight: "I'm gonna show you just how weak you are!" 

Though PiForUAll has already made a guess, I wanna make one as well. I think it is Mystic Cave. Because it is from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which had Sonic and Tails as well as the infamous death pit in that level.
