  I'm sure that Sonic fans are familiar with the Boost Formula, it's humble beginnings started with Sonic Unleashed after the demise of the Adventure Formula, and Sega has kept it ever since. I am curious what you guys think about it in general~ Do you like it and wish for it to continue in future games? Are you indifferent to it? Or are you sick and tired of it that you wish to see it gone?

  At first, I thought it was a strange transition when I played Sonic Colors, but after playing for a long while,  thought it was just ok. When I played Generations it was slightly better, but for me, it reached it's peak with that game, i wished it would've ended with Generations. I am sick of it at this point, I want Sega to make a new engine or return to the Adventure Formula.

  I don't mind the way the boost is at the moment, but I think it would be better if it was a power up again. It worked in the 3D games before, like the Sonic Adventure games and Sonic Heroes, so why not it future Sonic games.

  The boost formula has gotten old, it makes the 3D games too easy and makers them feel empty.
  The boost needs to be something that has to be earned like doing a level well as opposed to handed out like candy.

  Even though I think Sonic Forces is a good game, the boost made the game way too easy, even when you played it on hard difficulty. The way the boost is now, makes Sonic almost invincible, so I agree that the boost has to be earned in the 3D Sonic games, since it just makes the games too easy.

  Well if its handled like the way it is in generations I am fine with it, Generations had the boost formula nailed down (as did sonic colors)
  However its still overused even in those games, its why the 2D sections feel refreshing as it gives the game a chance to slow down.
  Forces had too many easy sections, generations at least had challenge.
