Still, You got to admit that's an impressive feat.

Not surprising or impressive if you’ve paid attention to the trends in that market for the past 15 years. The PS2 was the last console to do well there after that the market shrank significantly as consumers shifted to handheld devices and mobile. Even the Vita performed strongly there which it didn’t do anywhere else in the world. A better gauge for how it's doing there is comparing it to how the 3DS did in the same time frame.
