Yeah through Remote Play. There’s an unofficial app on the App Store and android people have hacked the official app to work on any android phone. Works anywhere there’s WiFi but Mania is about the only game playable on a touchscreen unless you pair a controller to it.

Wish I still had a Vita or that Sony got smart and made a device specifically for Remote Play.

Not all the games are better than the ones on the MegaDrive. I just think the first Sonic game on the Master System is better than the one on the MegaDrive. I'm not a fan of the special stages in the first Sonic game on the MegaDrive, they're still in the Master System version, but you don't get the Chaos Emeralds in them, you search for the Chaos Emeralds in the levels instead. There are some levels that are different too Marble, Spring Yard and Starlight Zone are not in the game. They have been replaced with Bridge, Jungle and Sky Base Zone, which is the sixth zone, replacing Scrap Brian which is the fifth zone.

Has anyone here played Sonic Pocket Adventure? It was my favorite handheld sonic game when I was in my finale year of high school.

I remember playing it when I was a lot younger on Vizzed.com, and I remember liking it, too. I liked that it was basically Sonic 2 but with Sonic 3 music, and the special stages there were actually more fun than in Sonic 2, iirc. Not that that was exactly difficult lol

The special stages are the same as the ones in sonic 2 so I don't see what makes them better in pocket adventure, to me it was weird hearing sonic 3's music in sonic 2 stages but I enjoyed it too.

Out of curiosity, does anybody remember making up challenges for yourself/friends in these games? When I was a kid I used to see how far I'd get without dying, but I haven't really done anything in that respect since then, except for the times when I did the occasional 3 Heart Run in Zelda games. Any suggestions? I'd love to try some of them.

I use to see how far I could get in sonic 1 without rings and seeing how far I could get in sonic 2 wile holding the controller upside down. lol
