  *Having escaped the Master Ball, I point out that bosses in Sonic traditionally take 8 hits to defeat, not 6. As such, the emerald vanishes from Neon's arms and returns to the still-active Eggmobile in a puff of logic. I deal the remaining two hits and nab the gem.*
