  Over the years, Sonic has dealt with a lot of baddies, but what do you think about them.
  
  Is there a villain that you like or despise? It can be from any Sonic Media of course
  
  I'll give my two cents to start with

  Metal Sonic-
  I have always found him very interesting, even though they do not use him a lot. I kinda wish he would have something similar like in Sonic Heroes, that he goes rogue, wanting to defeat Sonic on his own. 
  
  Dislikes
  Zavok(Lost Worlds and beyond)- Like everything in Sonic Lost World, Zavok was just a failed experiment that should've been left behind. I am not sure why they are keeping him around, he is pretty much a pointless character that they should let go.

  Apart from Dr Eggman, who I think is the best villain Sonic has had. There is another antagonist I think is a really good, although he became good at the end, and that's Chaos from Sonic Adventure. In the past, Chaos was the original guardian of the master emerald and the chaos emeralds, but he was turned evil by the echidna clan's greed for power. Before Chaos could cause more destruction, he was sealed away in the master emerald.
  
  In the present, Dr Eggman through some stone tablets, finds a way to summon Chaos once again. He plans to use Chaos to help him conquer the world, by giving him a chaos emerald to make him stronger. But in the end it didn't work as Chaos turned on Dr Eggman and through the negative power of seven chaos, Perfect Chaos was unleashed upon Station Square and destroyed the city. He could destroyed the whole world but he defeated by Super Sonic. Chaos is one of my favourite villains from the Sonic games, as he had a good backstory, and throughout Sonic Adventure, he was being built up to be final boss, since you fought him many times and he was in a different form.

  I am a sucker for manipulative villains. I love villains that can get into the hero's head and make them do things they will regret. This is why Mephiles is probably one of my favorites. He has manipulated Silver the Hedgehog, ticked off Omega making him lash out, and almost got into Shadow's head when showing him what humanity will do to him in the future. He doesn't care about ruling it unlike many other villains, all he cares about is destruction and chaos.
  
  Since I love manipulative villains, I had high hopes for Infinite. He can make illusions which can damage a person. Infinite had so much potential breaking characters by making them see their worst fears (not to mention his theme is suuuuper sweet). He did great in terms for first impressions. He enjoys seeing people shake in fear which is shown in how he lets the avatar live if the avatar flees in fear. But then he did one of the dumbest things a villain could ever do, let the hero live because he isn't worthy to be killed. His backstory was also very disappointing. Throwing a tantrum just because someone calls you weak isn't the best backstory to give to a villain. So basically, Infinite had so much potential but it was all wasted.

  I always thought Neo Metal Sonic was great. He was the only of Eggman's creations that turned on him to take over without having to listen to a master.
