Well how much do you believe this? Do you think they actually came up with a design that fans will love? It was just an off-topic question in an interview but it makes you wonder what they were thinking in the first place?

Even if they do have a decent design of Sonic now, The miovie still looks mediocre as all hell.

For the first time, I'm with everyone else here.

I'm interested to see how this turns out, and probably won't mind either way (I'm one of those freaks who doesn't hate the previous design anyway), but with Sonic fans you can never tell so it's got me a little nervous now he's straight up come out and said "You lot are gonna be okay with this."

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this until a picture is released of the new design. They had said in previous media on the trailers about how good the design was and, well, it wasn't. It just wasn't Sonic, at least in my opinion anyway. I'm not saying it was horrible, but it just didn't look right and the proportions weren't great. I'm glad they listened and decided to tweak it, but now it's just waiting to see the tweaks.

Sometimes it takes being humbled to knock the pride out of you. They probably thought it was good because they didn’t want to admit it was bad but after all the backlash they knew it wasn’t good. Sometimes recognizing the truth is all it takes.

It's good that they're changing the design of Sonic for the movie. I don't know if I might see it at the cinema, or wait until it's released on Blu-ray. Anyway does anyone think it might be too late for a live action Sonic movie? To me, a live action movie might have been better, if it was made in the early or mid 2000's. As of now, where the fanbase is so divided.
