  haven't seen a general thread for it pop up yet, so i'll make one.
  
  there's only 2 days until the movie releases! techincally only one, since there's early showing events on the 19th. i'm gonna be seeing it early, and i'm pretty excited. i wasn't entirely sold on this movie at first, since i wasn't the biggest fan of the first 2 movies, but all the marketing since the first trailer has made me a lot more optimistic about it.
  
  unfortunately the movie isn't releasing internationally on the 20th, though. there's some countries like japan that won't be seeing it until later in the month.

  Over here, it'll be launching in the 25th. But I don't know if I can actually make the date. Hopefully so. I'm not the biggest on the movies, but a Sonic movie is a Sonic movie.
  
  In all honesty, I more wanna see firsthand what character they're gonna sequel-hook with, if at all. I SCREAMED at the Sonic movie 2 theater when they showed Shadow and I don't want that experienced spoil by seeing "Amy confirmed for movie 4!!!" on Tumblr.

  oh yeah, the new character reveal is going to be hype, i wouldn't want that ruined for me either. (which, personally, i'm hoping for either metal sonic or rouge). i've heard there's going to be multiple post-credits scenes, so there might even be something else teased along with the sequel?
  
  either way, i wish you the best of luck avoiding spoilers! i know i wouldn't be able to help myself if i wasn't seeing it early, and i'd probably accidentally spoil myself, hahah

  just got home from the theater... no spoilers, but that was easily the best thing to come out of the movieverse thus far. they really nailed shadow. and that finale captured the spirit of the sa2 finale in the best way possible. the end credits character reveal was super fun, too. it's definitely going to make a lot of people happy, and i'm curious to see where they go with it.
