Personally I'm not in a big rush to pick up a PS5 since most games I like are available on other consoles. Main reason I'd be interested in picking one up at the moment would be to play the Ratchet & Clank series, especially with a new game coming out. Just in general I also want to try to pick up the latest consoles to maximize availability for any new games that catch my interest. I am curious to see if there is going to be a PS5 Pro or something similar, but if there is it'll likely be a few years before we hear anything about it.

I am getting it as soon as I can simply because I already will be at some point and there are games I want at launch. Looking forward to playing Demon's Souls, Spider-Man Miles Morales, and Sackboy. Alas I don't have much hope getting it on launch because of how much it has been selling. Hopefully before January though.

Just added up games I won't ever play again plus my PS4 Pro and I'm looking at $405 from Gamestop! Not bad not bad.

Probably not gonna jump into this generation until much later. I'm mostly playing my Steam, Wii, and GameCube games right now. I have an Xbox One S but I never play it (i only have minecraft (legacy console and bedrock) and rocket league from before it became free)

Older games are great! I sold my PS4 on Facebook Marketplace so the newest console I have until I get the PS5 is the PS3. Been playing older PSP games till then.

I freaking can't get one because stupid bots are swooping them up quickly and there's so much traffic online that it keeps crashing Walmart's site. Still some hope for Black Friday. lol
