We'll only probably know the truth once the movie is out and someone talks about the events that are happening now. I would love to be a fly on the wall at SEGA and at this studio right now, hearing them scramble to make plans to fix it. Poor animators are going to get the brunt of this... all leave canceled, double shifts, etc.. like what happened once at Pixar..
One thing I can take away from this...
I am really happy and proud of all of us who spoke up and pushed back. I also realise today that this Sonic family is larger than I imagined, and people really *do* care about our hero Sonic. I was under the impression that the Sonic fandom was busy fading slowly but I was wrong.
