When I was a kid I was absolutely nuts for Super Sonic Vs. Hyper Knuckles. I remember my dad ordered it for me and it felt like YEARS for it to arrive. I can't remember an exact timeframe but it was probably weeks because they had to receive the money via mail before shipping it out. Still one of my favorites but that may just be nostaligia talking. lol Does anyone have a favorite comic?

I need to start reading those Fleetway comics. Anyways, when it comes to Archie comics, I think I stopped around issue 53 because I lost track on what comics and side-comics I should be reading. But my two favorites are very close chronologically. One of my favorites is the Mecha Madness Special Issue. It's quite the epic battle between the two robots.
My second favorite is the comic that happens afterward which is issue #40. This comic is just plain hilarious to read. Everyone loves a funny court scene (especially when Antoine is the prosecution).
For the IDW comics.....well. I have a weird obsession with seeing a person's loved one become lost in front of their eyes. And I was quite shocked to see IDW do this amazingly well. A perfect example of this is in Issue #22 where we see Cream lose her own mother in front of her and Vector sacrifice himself to protect his friends and passes the lead detective torch to Espio. -

Oh man issue 39 and Mecha Madness is also one of my favorites! As a kid I removed the staples and combined both into one long comic. Hahaha
I wonder if you can still order those issues? -

Wow $8 for Mecha Madness is probably cheaper than when it came out! I think, maybe not, but it seems like that's cheap for a special edition comic. -

I am getting used to the IDW comics.i know that the Fleetway version is kinda dark in a way, but i prefer IDW because of its simplistic straight story telling(Kinda like if it was the games in a way) and the great art. I also like Fleetways art style and how much of a prick they made Sonic. I like how Fleetway interpreted the Sonic Adventure storyline instead of copying and pasting the story from the game. -

Fleetway did have a very interesting interpretation when it comes to the story of the Sonic games, especially with Sonic's super form. Sonic overall is quite hilarious in those comics because of how much of a jerk he is like you mentioned. It kinda puts OVA Sonic to shame

After looking around a bit here, I can fairly say that the Sonic comic universe is even more expansive than I remember it! Might need to at least get some plot beats from some of them as I doubt I'll ever get to reading all on offer! -

I missed out on Fleetway because I don't think they sold them in the US but I really like the IDW art style they have going. I know Archie changed art a lot but the ones I grew up with look a bit goofy now with how Sonic was drawn.
