Resident Evil is one of my favourite gaming franchise's, and I thought the remake of Resident Evil 2 is great. A lot more has changed from the original RE2 game, than what the first remake of Resident Evil did. Like the static camera and door loading animations are gone, also you can move while aiming you weapon. I think the puzzles are good, but sometimes they can be challenging, especially in the second scenario (2nd Run) I thought the game was scary at too, even more in 2nd Run, where the Tyrant (MR X) chases you throughout the game. I still think the original RE2 is a good game, but the remake improved a lot.

If you have this game, what do you think of it?

I really want to try this sometime but with a car payment, I can't. It looks fantastic though!

Although it's not a very long game. I did both scenarios and it only took me over four hours, for each one. But it's still a great game, and when I played the two scenarios, I did it on Assisted difficulty. Next time when I go through the game, I will play it on Standard. I hope there will be a remake of Resident Evil 3 after this, since it took place before and after RE2.

There have been rumblings of a RE3 remake. Capcom said if RE2 does well enough they will greenlight it. I can see it happening. Currently they're working on RE8.

The original RE3 was released only a year after RE2, 1998 and 1999. It would be good if they do a RE3 remake, and since it takes place throughout Raccoon City including the R,P,D. I'm guessing it will be huge. Anyway some things in the RE2 Remake, although I guess this was going to happen, but they've changed some of the lore and the notes you find in the game.
