  Oooh....Sonic 3 and Knuckles for sure. It's my favorite game out of the classic trilogy. I've played it many times and I have some fond memories of those times.

  Hey welcome back! Great to see you here. I can absolutely relate to being busy with work. I've been slammed with work so have been quieter here lately, hoping to step up my activity whenever I can. See you around the board!

  Sonic 3 & Knuckles would be a fun choice for sure, though possibly a little scary since you get BOTH the struggles of a water stage with Hydrocity and the struggles of being in a volcano with Lava Reef. I think I wouldn't have the guts, even with the powers of Sonic, to face those challenges myself! So kudos to you for that bravery!

  Yeah...both a water stage like Hydrocity and a fire stage like Lava Reef would be scary at best. However if I can get to a bubble shield for Hyrdrocity and a fire shield for Lava Reef I think I'll be ok! 
  
  Maybe I'll be Knuckles and glide my way out of trouble, taking the routes Sonic and Tails can't. That'll be one way of traversing S3&K!

  True, I feel like Knuckles gets a little bit of an easier shake for having the alternate routes and the ability to climb/glide his way out of trouble! Good thinking there!

  Heheh, my first time playing S&K (my first-ever video game) I had chosen Knuckles and was enthralled by how cool he looked. The gliding and busting through walls was my favorite things about him. I was hooked.

  Oh I know that feeling! I never actually owned Sonic 3 in my younger years, sadly, but I had S&K since release basically and I LOVED playing as Knuckles. While Sonic was the dude with the 'tude, way past cool and all that, Knuckles was cooler than way past cool by a mile!! Hehe

  Hehe, I was the same way! Never knew about the "Lock-on" technology from S&K (always wondered why the cart looked different than the other carts I accumulated overtime, then some odd years later I discovered it with S3 and it became my favorite game. Loved playing as Knuckles as well!

  Oh somehow I knew about the lock-on right straight away, and would often put my copy of Sonic 2 onto it and run Knuckles through those stages! And I never understood why I couldn't do the same for Sonic 1, but I tried many times, thinking maybe it was just being faulty! hehe
