  (You are indeed correct! It is the Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.)
  
  My guess is Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing Transformed. Characters from multiple universes from Sega fitting the first sentence along with speed in racing. Why I specifically chose Transformed was because of the detail of land, air, and sea. Transformed had you ride your vehicle on the air and ocean as well as on the land.
  
  A castle lies ahead of a beautiful grass field. Beautiful gems lying along the trail and giant chests with treasures to be found. The journey won't be easy, hedgehog clad in green. There are skeletons you must face and creatures that shoot nuts under the bushes. Let your quest begin!

  I'm honestly pretty stumped on this one. That is an excellent, beautifully written and cryptic hint!
  
  The castle description immediately lead me to think of Sylvania Castle Zone from Sonic 4: Episode II, but I don't feel like the rest of this hint matches that level. I don't recall that level having beautiful gems or giant treasure chests.
  
  That description also makes me think of levels such as Crystal Cave from Sonic and the Black Knight, but the hint still has too many attributes that do not match that level. Especially the part regarding hedgehog clad in green: I'm having a lot of trouble thinking of any Sonic game with any Hedgehog-species character wearing green.
  
  The only game I can think of that does that would be Sonic Lost World, namely the Zelda DLC: this would likely fit the other fantasy elements of the hint as well. Unfortunately, I've never actually played the Zelda DLC, as I bought Lost World on Steam. I do have a copy for Wii U, but I have not yet purchased a Wii U to play it on (although I plan to do so at some point for sure).
  
  I think there could easily be another game or level I'm just not thinking of, but right now the best guess I can come up with (despite not playing the level yet) is the Zelda DLC from Lost World, so I will put forth Sonic Lost World as my top hypothesis.

  (Yes, you are correct. It is Sonic Lost World the Zelda DLC. I honestly haven't played the DLC either but I have watched a little bit of the gameplay of the DLC for this hint. I only own Lost World for the 3ds.)
  
  I am guessing Sonic Battle for the GBA. The first sentence is referring to Emerl, an ancient robot who was found by Gerald Robotnik. The questionable morality could be referring to the fact that Dr. Eggman wanted to use him to destroy the world and the fact that when Sonic first meets Emerl they fight. The second sentence is especially why I am convinced it is Sonic Battle as there are many times where you have to fight robots created by Eggman in places literally called Central City and Highway.
  
  Ah, the museum. The perfect place to learn history of many adventures. We can revisit many historic places from the famous Green Hills, the poisonous Toxic Caves, and....wait, what's that behind the curtain? Flicky? (Not my best hint but it was worth a shot)

  (That's awesome you have Lost World for 3DS. I've played it on Steam but I haven't actually played the 3DS version yet, and I heard there are a lot of differences. I own a copy of it for 3DS but haven't gotten time to play it yet for that console. I really want to though. I always enjoy comparing the differences between different versions of Sonic games.)

  That's a really great hint! My top guess is Sonic Jam, as that was the first game to include a hubworld, and the hubworld included various buildings including a museum. The game included a lot of functions to not only play various classic Sonic games (including with different settings/configuration) but to view precious Sonic content in a museum-style viewing experience.

  You were on the right track. But I was actually referring to the Sonic Mega Collection. Not only could you look at stuff like Toxic Caves but actually play in them. A part of the hint that really gives away that it's Sonic Mega Collection is the last part where I mention Flicky. That is one of the unlockable games in the Mega Collection.
  
  My guess is Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Island of Dreams and gazing from solitude is referring to Angel Island. Towering Heights referring to levels like Sky Sanctuary. Anachronistic enigmas referring to Hidden Palace Zone and the tranquil tides referring to either the beach portion of the Angel Island Zone or the Hydrocity Zone. The joyful tracks have stumped me though.
  
  Welp, I screwed up. Tried to save my friends from being killed and yet here we are about to be killed by a bunch of robots controlled by an ancient evil that I apparently awakened. *sigh* Alright, *cracks knuckles* let's get this over with.

  (That is an excellent hint! I overlooked the Flicky aspect but you are definitely right, that is a key identifier pointing toward it being Sonic Mega Collection. I dearly love that game and all collections of Sonic media over the years: I wish we would get more compilations under a structured system of that nature.)
  
  (That is an excellent guess, and I really love the parallels you drew with Sonic 3 & Knuckles! However, I was actually hinting at Knuckles' Chaotix. "Gazing out from solitude" was in reference to the game opening on Isolated Island, a remote and quiet island within close proximity to the main portion of the game. "Island of dreams" was in reference to the nearby island holding Newtrogic High Zone, the primary area of the game. The "dreams" and "shimmers" key words were references to its otherworldly-amusement-park aesthetic. "Tower heights" was a reference to the zone Techno Tower, the zone with the greatest vertical displacement in the game. "Anachronistic enigmas" was a reference to the zone Amazing Arena which features some of my favorite aesthetics from any classic Sonic game, including enigmatic, surreal and nostalgia-centered archetypes involving camera-flash-badniks, an anomalous Eggman lookalike machine with uncanny valley effects, contrast between off/grayscale and on/colorful modes, among other aspects. "Joyful tracks" was a reference to the zone Speed Slider, one of my favorite levels in the entire Sonic series: an absolutely beautiful, amazing and inspirational level consisting of a massive roller coaster framed by an even larger amusement park with countless joyful and mysterious sights to explore, ranging across a tremendous and joyfully startling degree of variety of content covering a wide range of relevant aesthetics. "Tranquil Tides" was a reference to the Marina Madness zone, another one of my favorite levels in the entire Sonic series: an absolutely breathtaking and dreamlike oceanside level depicting a harbor setting with mysterious piers and numerous docked ships to contemplate, with distant shores framing the wondrous background.)
  
  
  Your hint is very intriguing! I thought about it quite a bit, and I'm honestly not sure. By two top guesses are Sonic Lost World and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. I'm thinking it could be Lost World since the Zeti are able to control robots, and they are definitely an ancient evil. However, Eggman was the one responsible for enraging them, and he doesn't have any true friends sadly, plus the style and tone does not match his manner of speaking so it wouldn't make sense to be him. The hint sounds like something Sonic or perhaps Knuckles would say (possibly the latter due to the aggresion and the "cracks knuckles" part). Unfortunately I have not yet played Rise of Lyric so I'm not very confident with this guess, but the tone and style of the hint definitely matches Sonic Boom in my mind specifically (if not that, would have to be another Sonic game from the 2010-onward era). I also know Lyric is an ancient evil, so it might be in reference to that game.

  My guess is Sonic Adventure. First, the TIDES of time is probably a reference to Chaos' element of water and how it floods the city of Station Square. The second sentence is referring to all the characters you play as and finally coming together at the ending. The "whisper from a heart" probably is talking about Tikal and the "unspoken tragedy" is referring to the raid of the Altar of the Emeralds by the Echidna tribe which filled Chaos with anger.
  
  So, this is the factory I keep hearing about. Though it looks heavily guarded, the robots don't seem like the sharpest tools in the shed, ironically enough. Alright, time to attack the base of Dr. Robotnik. This is for Has Bean!
