  Seg's eyes, upon having this creature caress his face widened. This touch.....it felt like the touch of his mother. It had the same feeling, the same softness, the same show of caring. Seg was briefly entranced by this.
  
  Suddenly a pain in his gut brought him to his knees, his eyes going stark in pain.
  
  "Seg!" Aaron said, rushing towards this new threat.

  Nega began laughing heartily as Bedlam sucker-punched Seg. "Excellent! I could watch you being thrashed all day! But we have more urgent priorities." The Eggmobile whined threateningly as Nega floated behind Bedlam and charged its weapons. ""And I will not tolerate any more delays."
  
  "Several. Which is why I can conclude this frontal assault with the armada has to be a distraction. Luckily, or perhaps not, your 'onii-chan' is at the center of the leader's attention," Taylor replied, pointing to the confrontation on the wall above. "You'll need to move quickly. I'll try to pick up the slack down here," he warned, a vicious smile crossing his visage.
  "We want to get clear, now! Conrad said, raising one hand defensively and instinctively grabbing Suni's with the other. They disappeared from the courtyard and reappeared on top of the wall, right between Bedlam and Nega and Seg and Aaron.

  Aaron charged Bedlam, ready to give this....this thing a furry of claws and kicks.
  
  (I'll leave it to @ to decide if his attack hits or misses.)
  
  After that Aaron noticed a stray brick right across the way from where he was standing. He did a few backflips, grabbed the brick and shouted "Seg! Catch!" Before throwing it at the hedgehog.
  
  As if on instinct, Seg caught the brick, the gems in his gloves lighting up. The hedgehog suddenly began to change on the outside.
  
  His fur began to change hue from his usual blue to a greyish kind of color...and texture.
  
  As he stood up every bit of his being, his clothing and his fur began to take on the aesthetic of the brick he had just touched. He struck a fighting pose, ready to take on Bedlam.

  The shadowy figure dodged every punch and kick Aaron was throwing, moving effortlessly. It seemed Bedlam was mocking her attacker, with smooth and incredibly fast moves… until she stopped for a moment to look at Seg.
  
  Aaron, as skilled as he was, didn’t waste the opportunity and finally landed a powerful kick in Bedlam’s chest, just in the middle of a reddish gem-like circle. That single attack made Bedlam stand back, the flames of her body moving from side to side, as if the creature was dizzy.
  
  Then Bedlam, once again, looked at Seg, this time not seeing that blueish tone in his fur, but a gray stone-like tone.

  “Eek!” Suni exclaimed after being grabbed by Conrad. “Watch out, I wasn’t expecting--”
  
  “--that…” the kitsune girl finished her sentence, just to realize she was in a completely different location. Looking at her surroundings she could see Eggman Nega, a strange dark flame-like woman… and yes, Seg and Aaron! 
  
  
  “Big bro!” Suni’s voice was filled with absolute joy. Without hesitation she ran towards Aaron just to give the cat a big hug. "Are you okay? What's going on??" girl asked.

  "You just got NY-OWNED!" Aaron said upon giving Bedlam a kick to the strange jewel in her chest, catching her off-guard. 
  
  Seg, now in his Stone form, changed one of his fists into a slab of stone, slamming it into Bedlam's face, following it up with causing an earthquake then decking her with another stone slab fist. 
  
  "Suni?! What are you doing here?!" Aaron said upon getting surprise-hugged by his adopted sister. "We're fighting bad guys, like how we usually do!"

  Conrad sighed. "You worried? She's worried about you," he said. He turned around to assess the situation himself, as Nega... not so much retreated as advanced farther above the castle.
  As he watched, Conrad began to grasp the shape of the situation. "Ah, blast. He's got us all locked down out here with a giant fight to distract anyone trying to stop him." He looked up to the sky to see the clear sky rapidly fill with thick dark clouds. "Think my teacher figured that as soon as we came out. He'll break the fight on the ground with this storm, but it's going to take a few minutes," he worked out aloud. He rolled his eyes and began to mutter under his breath, affecting his mentor's tone ironically. "You can relax, Connor, it's a formal event, nothing's going to happen, you don't need to bring the guns... Sorry, I can't throw Power that far yet." Streaks of slivery light began to dance around his arms as he glanced from the now-distant Nega, to the shadowy thing the prince was battling. If Seg wasn't lucky, he'd be ready to step in.

  Aaron suddenly noticed that Nega was getting away. "I know, I know, look can you look after her for just a few more minutes? That giant talking egg is getting away and I need to catch up to him! 'Kay thanks bye!" He hurriedly said to Conrad before taking off to the nearest castle tower and ascending it at a fluid speed, catching up to Eggman Nega.
  
  Meanwhile Seg was still plugging away at Bedlam.

  "Aaron-kun, don't leave so soon, I want to help..."
  
  Suni's words had no effect on her brother, as she saw the cat jump over the towers of the castle.
  
  "...help you..." Suni mumbled.
  
  Her attention was now drawn to Conrad. "Wait, you have sneaked guns in the castle?"
  
  
  Seg got to hit Bedlam a few more times, until the creature realized her disadvantage in battle. After Seg's last hit, the eyes of the blazing shadow looked up at Eggman Nega. It was time to get rid of these people, but how? She was already having a hard time dealing with just a pair of them, she couldn't take them all down... 
  
  Or could she? 
  
  Bedlam's body warped into a small flaming tornado, eeriely similar to Blaze's signature move. Only in case of Bedlam, the flames were expanding...

  (sorry to keep you all waiting!)
  Once Seg could see that his attacks whilst in Stone form were having an effect on Bedlam, he shifted back to regular form and witnessed her signature move. Once again he was reminded of his mother's signature attack and put his arms up in an "X" position, ready to take it, as that was what he needed to use another emulation.....
  
  Aaron wall jumped, climbed and parkour'ed over the castle towers, keeping up with the Negamobile. Once he was at a reasonable height over it....
  
  "JOYRIDE!" He shouted, hopefully getting Eggman Nega's attention and getting in a couple of clean hits.

  "As much as I may have wanted to, no...hoho." Connor began to recoil, but his tone softened and slowed into a self-effacing laugh. "Not that we needed to. Why, did you want one? Answer while we move; up you get!" he added, smirking, reaching out to Suni.
  
  Nega, of course, had been keeping track of the pursuing Kunai. With a harumph, he fired his craft's side jets, causing him to wobble to the side, forcing Aaron to find purchase on the Negamobile's hull--
  which Nega promptly electrified.
