I'm biased by my major and I usually fallback to the SMART method, to build SMART goals. Although you set the yearly benchmark I would also suggest to split some bullets into smaller junks.
It is possible than some months we could get less or more activity than in others, so smaller time junks could allow us for more flexibility and not being too harsh on not meeting the yearly total goals.
I apologize if this sounds too meddlesome (lack of better word) but I really wish the community strives to the top !
