Oh that's an awesome idea. SatAM was based on the archie comics so one based on IDW could be a spiritual successor to that show.

Actually, it's the other way around. The comics were based on early concepts of the SatAM cartoon.

I been waiting for a new since after the sonic movie came out(Maybe earlier) but i have hope at least sometime between 2020 - 2030 we will get a new series and it better be worth the wait.

My idea for a storyline (fanfiction, obviously) is to make it more "Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse" than "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles Forever"; with various versions of the storyline on a collision course.
TBut the difference is that the realities are _SUPPOSED_ to merge together! Except for Eggman and (SatAM) Dr. Robotnik, the various characters would become an amalgum of the elements of their variations.

Each Main character would go through their own substory, which convene at the point where the planet is completely restored (See Fleetway, AoSTH, SatAM, SU and IDW) when ALL the various chaos emeralds of the various dimensions gather together at Knothole.

I had worked out an outline for this, but unfortunately lost hte files.
