There are tons of mobile games on the app store. Sonic runners, Sonic dash, Sonic forces. Are any of these worth downloading?

I just found out sonic robot blast can be played on mobile which is nice.

I've heard the Forces game is good but I am not a big fan of mobile games so I have never got into them. I downloaded a few but I just hate touch controls.

In all honesty, I'm not a big fan of mobile games so I can't say much of the Sonic games on the app store other than... yep, they're mobile games with a Sonic coat of paint. However, if you are looking for a good Sonic mobile experience, I just recommend Sonic Runners Revival. The Sonic Runners on the app store right now is just a really watered down "remaster" of what the original Sonic Runners used to be, and Revival gives back that experience.

It also adds more characters like Tangle and Whisper from the IDW comics. Plus, since it's not an official revival, thus they're not allowed to make money off of it, it's completely rid from all ads or micro-transactions, you just play and get your stuff like that. There's no better Sonic mobile game than this one. There's also the rocking soundtrack.

No microtransactions or ads is speaking my language. I will take a look.

I have DNS filtering so ads in apps mostly don't load.   But nice to hear there are those out there that are preserving the good stuff.

Don't forget that it's not only preserving the good stuff, but adding onto it as well! As I have already mentioned with the Tangle and Whisper characters.

Just recently they had a Christmas Tangle event where there was a higher chance to get the newest character in the game, Christmas Tangle, and also extra points while playing her. And given my profile picture, signature and bio, you can kind of guess that I loooooooove Tangle so I got pretty excited during this event.

Oh, good to point out that it's merely a higher chance of getting the character during event, not "you miss the event and now you can't get the character forever"... hate when games do that...

Seems worth a play, I already installed.

I downloaded the Sonic Forces game on Android but was disappointed it required internet connection to play.

Right, while you can play Runners Revival without an internet connection, it's only the practice mode with default characters and no Buddies. You still need a connection to play with characters and buddies so... bummer.

Yes, I did notice today after installing and trying to play. It is still better than nothing, I'm don't do a lot of mobile-gaming so much than this is pretty much the only game on my phone, so I suppose practicing every now and then when offline and playing later when I get home will work for me.

The game by itself looks pretty nice and enjoyable.

It isn't built for mobile but I would like to add that SRB2 has an android version.
