Have you ever read a review for a game and left scratching your head with something they said you found absurd? In the Sonic community IGN has become famous for the critique of “Too much water!” What are some other absurd things you’ve seen in reviews?

One that comes to mind is IGN’s review of Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction in 2007. They were the lowest score of all the outlets. While others were giving it 9s they gave it a 7.5. While the low score doesn’t bother me, it’s their opinion after all, it was their main complaint. The main complaint was it had “too much variety.” Like that doesn’t even register in my head as a problem and found it to be absurd.

Yeah, wasn't that also a thing with Pokemon back in 2015 with ORAS? IGN have made a lot of stupid claims; don't even get me started on the whole "Uhhhhhh, Sonic was never good." debacle...
