Good vibes.
 The year was 3021.

Winter was wrapped up across the lands, but not here.

In the Crystal Empire, there were four seasons: Winter, Still Winter, Still Bucking Winter, and Spring.

Being up north had its disadvantages. Though, to be honest, Rose Quill was used to it by now. A faint cloud of breath escaped her lips. Her rose quartz fur bristled slightly in the fur as she gently brushed her ruby mane out of her face. Sapphire eyes sparkled with the ideas she was about to jot down.

Right now, she sat on a metal chair ourside her usual restaraunt, a cheap hayburger place that went by the name "Hay's Fries 'n' Burgers.". A pen was in her teeth as she wrote in her journal, protected from the snowfall by the table's umbrella.

She was waiting for her date to arrive.
