"I didn't use the whole thing ...."

![]() Nintendo and The Pokemon Company on Thursday announced Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, the next entry in the turn-based Pokemon spinoff series for 3DS. Details about the game are light at the moment, but it appears it isn't deviating too much from the core series, which has now sold more than 13 million copies worldwide. In its very brief announcement, Nintendo said Super Mystery Dungeon will offer "even greater, randomly generated dungeons." Players will do battle with the help of Legendary and Mythical Pokemon in their effort to "save the world in a sweeping tale of adventure and mystery." Super Mystery Dungeon will launch for 3DS in North America this winter |

At 5:43, we get our english trailer. To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll get the new Mystery Dungeon myself, but having all 720 in the game seems pretty cool since I heard the previous one didn't have all of them. |

If the story is as good as the one in Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, I'd comsinder it. Otherwise I think I'm over the series. Looks nice though. |

I object to your claims

Hell yes, a new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game! I love the PMD games. I'd rank them as one of my favorite spin-off series, honestly. Yes, the gameplay is simple and repetitive at times, but the stories have been better-written and more emotionally-captivating than what we've got in the main games. The art's looking nice. It could be smoother, but maybe it'll look better when I actually look at it on the 3DS screen. I mean, the sixth gen games looked fantastic, so hopefully this one will as well. Hub world looks nice. And it looks like we're going to have a wide choice of starters again. Good. I hated the fact that Gates to Infinity was limited to the BW starters, Pikachu, and Axew. Nothing against those Pokemon, but I wanted to be a Charmander dammit! Good to know there seems to be much more of a variety of Pokemon in general than the last installment. And please tell me this game is going to have good music. Rescue Team has one of my favorite soundtracks in gaming and the rest of the series have yet to dissapoint me in this field as well. Looking forward to this one! |

While the expanded starting roster is better this time around and you're free to choose, I'd like it better if there was a little more variety in there. What about other types? For as many starters as there are you're really only limited to one of four types. And if past Mystery Dungeon games are anything to go by you won't get the chance to evolve until well after you're done with the story so secondary types won't even apply. It would have been nice to see some other mons like Cubone, Riolu, Meowth, etc making a reappearance as starters in this game. Guess at the very least the fact that all the mons are present in this game means you can add any one you like to your party. |
