 A red lance of magic energy lanced out towards Senjin. Maud dashed counter-clockwise around the throne room towards Twilight.

 Twilight's lance began to push harder. However, Maud lept in and hammered on Twilight's breastplate with a rapid series of jackhammer punches. Twilight's lance ceased.

Good vibes.
 With the combined effort, the chestpiece dented before clattering to the ground. The Alicorn Amulet remained, fused to her flesh.

Suddenly, the illusion spell faded, and her true form was revealed.

Most of her gray fur had fallen off, revealing pale lifeless skin. Originating from the Amulet and stretching out across her entire body were glowing and pulsing red veins full of unholy magic. No feathers remained on her pathetic wings, and her eyes were bloodshot, yellow, and dead.

"N-n... No... You sh-sh-shouldn't have d... done that..." Twilight said.

 Twilight deflected the bolt of magic effortlessly.

Even though his strength and speed were enhanced, Senjin's magic was not.

 Senjin growled. He didn't know what to do. There was only one thing to do now, and that was to wait for Fluttershy.

 At that point, the doors burst open, and Fluttershy flew in. She immediately fired two spheres of red-and-black magic at Twilight, knocking her back a foot.
