So E3 is next month hey? How time flies. Feels like only yesterday I watched my last batch of Treehouse coverage.

seriously though this snuck up on me

So: What are your hopes for this year's E3? What do you think that one publisher you've got your eye on will bring to table? What's the deal with Reggie's pink tracksuit?

tl;dr: Talk about E3 stuff in this thread.

For me personally, no major hopes. Would be interested in some info about what they plan to do for the next Fire Emblem's global release but otherwise I'll just be looking out for interesting bits that pop up unexpectedly.

One thing that we can all agree on somewhat is some information on this new NX system. What can it do? What can we expect from this? Will this be the end of the Wii U's tenure?

All these questions I hope to hear answers on. anyone with me?

Not really. I don't even want to think of replacing any of my consoles already. Especially the Wii U. It's only just getting decent in terms of library.

3DS doesn't seem too unreasonable to have a successor already but I'd kinda rather it didn't for at least another year or so.

Unfortunately I just found out that Nintendo have already said there will be no NX news at E3 this year.
Yeah I was hoping for that too but we will have to wait till next year.

I'd actually be fine with an Other M 2 in terms of gameplay. It was really fun. Plot's the main thing that needs some work.

I doubt we'll see another Metroid in a long while though. But at the same time wouldn't mind being proven wrong.

I would like a Mii fighter amiibo. that would be something, since I don't really have any specific titles to look forward to, all I have is a 3DS. I would so love a Wii U down the road, though.

My general "List of things I'd like to see from Nintendo's presentation" this year is as follows:

-Xenoblade Chronicles X: My most highly anticipated game this year. Hopefully we get a western release date and the first english voice acted trailer.

-Star Fox U: I'd be surprised if we don't get a trailer for this, honestly.

-Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem: Probably won't be out for a long time, but I hope that we get to see more info regarding the story and gameplay.

-Fire Emblem if: Like the game above, it probably won't be out for a while, but I'd like to see more on this. Hopefully, the Limited Edition three-routes-in-one game that Japan's getting is the standard edition over here.

-Pokken Tournament: Because let's be honest: There's no way this will remain an arcade exclusive, much less stay Japan-only.

There's probably more, but that's all I got so far. Maybe we'll also get a concrete release date for the next amiibo waves? Or maybe they'll announce that the rare amiibo are getting more restocks? Hopefully.

As far as I'm aware they plan to release that around the same time they're releasing the cards that you can scan for that Animal Crossing home designer game. I can't remember the exact date but I think it's hovering around the June~July period.

Honestly I can live without Pokémon Z. If they have to make a follow up to XY I'd prefer something along the lines of BW2. Preferably something that brings the story up to par with the first BW games too.

Whatever they do they'd better address the frame rate issues in their next game. It's not game-breaking but it's certainly jarring.

SMTxFE - I doubt we'll see much on story for SMTxFE especially considering they only recently announced it was still a thing. Some gameplay maybe but I won't get my hopes up.

FE14 - Considering is due out in Japan shortly after E3 takes place I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a little more about it. That said, is the three-route in one edition even a thing? To my knowledge the only version that allows you to choose a path is the digital release, with the cost going towards the side you choose after the split. After that you have to pay for the remaining two stories if you feel like playing those as well. Not even sure if the third story is an option in this method either.

I'm willing to pay a bit more for the third path since it was never presented as something that was in the game by default. The other two paths were, or at least appeared to be. Maybe it's my fault for making assumptions about this but they certainly didn't make it clear that it was going to be two separate purchases in our trailers.

Pokken Tournament - Forgot about that. A Wii U port announcement would be sweet, but again I won't get my hopes up.

That does remind me though: Some more info on the new Dissidia Final Fantasy game would be pretty great. Loved the PSP games so I'm eager to learn how this one will stack up.

According to this, yes, there will be a Three-In-One Edition. Granted, this is the limited edition, but considering how vague Directs outside the Japanese ones have been regarding how they'll release if in the west, it's possible this is the one we'll be getting.

And I mostly mentioned Pokken because, assuming Z or X2Y2 aren't a thing, that's most likely gonna end up being the Pokémon game they promote at E3. I know nothing says Pokémon has to show up in some way, but I feel like if it does, this is gonna be the one they show.

And speaking of Dissidia, I heard Square Enix's presentation is happening at the same time as Nintendo's. I'll probably stick to watching the latter; because aside from KHIII, Bravely Second and that new Dissidia game; there isn't much I'm interested from the former.

Hm, I see. Looking at currency conversion that special edition comes just shy of $100 for us in Australia. Which honestly I wouldn't mind paying too much. Most 3DS games hover around the $70 mark down here so adding an extra thirty isn't so bad. Though I wouldn't be surprised to see a mark-up that has it selling closer to $120.

I'd still much prefer the cart with both the Hoshido and Nohr paths on it as the standard release though.

Also pretty much in the same boat. I rarely follow anything but Nintendo's announcements around E3. Get most of the other news second hand sooner or later anyway.
