Good vibes.
 Music filled the midnight club. Flashing colored lights filled the dance floor as mares and stallions moved their bodies to the music.



At the turntable was Vinyl Scratch, wubbing up a storm for her ponies. This was the last song of the night, and she wanted to end on a high note.

She gave a grin of satisfaction as the song ended. "It's been great, my ponies! You sure know a good party! Goodnight, Ponyville!"

With a bow to the cheers and stomps of the crowd, DJ PON-3 left the stage.

 Those two ponies were really just there to see the humans off. They still had their own lives, after all.

The purple-shades-wearing DJ trotted over to the humans. "Yo, mah homies! You must be the two humans Ditz was talkin' 'bout!"

 "Let's see if you have what it takes..." Vinyl said as her horn glowed.

A box on wheels was enveloped in a blue glow as it was pulled in front of her. She got up on her hind hooves behind it.

"To handle..."

She flicked a series of switches on the top, and a large red button with a glass cover that she opened.

"MAH BASS CANNON!!"

She slammed her hoof onto the button.



The Bass Wave slammed into the duo, and into Fluttershy and Derpy (who were watching the exchange with interest). The latter two were flung to the other side of the room.

 The two beams clashed in the center, a wind rushing past the combatants.

"So... Awesome..." Said Derpy.

Vinyl bobbed her head to the music as she maintained her cannon's power.

 Vinyl's horn glowed brightly as sweat trickled down her brow, her full concentration on keeping her Bass Cannon firing.
