The Duo nodded and Mariko summoned the keyboard blade. "HEY! Remember me? well I've been looking for you, you abomination of an alicorn! " Senjin shouted at the attacking Metal Alicorn, trying to get the Alicorn's attention. "I let you win, you know. I knew I couldn't beat you as we were. But now we have the whole record assembled! and now you have a front row seat to your own beat down! " |

Twilight and the Metal Alicorn both stopped and slowly turned. "...Record?" Twilight asked, confused. "No idea." The Metal Alicorn replied. At that moment, Vinyl grabbed the last piece of the record. |

Senjin and Mariko quickly launched into a fast and furious set of riffs, launching a combination of fire and ice at the Metal Alicorn. "Vinyl! The piece! Quick! " Mariko shouted above the noise of keyboard and guitar. |

Senjin stopped playing while Mariko kept up the assault on the metal alicorn and reattached the piece. Their instruments were now at full power, creating a holy shockwave throughout the forest. The duo were now ready to engage the alicorn in battle. Even the "Bass Cannon 2.0" was ready to serve its respective user. |

A fourth instrument entered the fray: A steel cello, its glowing blue lines humming with energy. Vinyl and Octavia took up their respective instruments. "It's time to finish this!" Vinyl said, aiming her Bass Cannon. |

These were the holy instruments. Senjin had the Holy Claymore, Mariko had the Divine Keysword, Vinyl had the Technomarvel, and Octavia had the Cello of Justice. "THIS ENDS HERE, METAL ALICORN!" Senjin and Mariko shouted. |

"You're right. It does." The Metal Alicorn said. It was surrounded on all sides. Perfect. It turned its head, and fired a beam directly towards the Tree of Harmony. Thinking fast, Vinyl fired her Bass Cannon at the beam, intercepting it. Beams clashed, causing a small shockwave throughout the crevice. Octavia looked at her cello, held on to it, and rushed at the Alicorn on two hooves. Within a second, the Metal Alicorn's beam overpowered the Bass Cannon and knocked it from Vinyl's hooves. Octavia swung her steel cello at the Metal Alicorn's neck. The Metal Alicorn fired one more beam. The cello made impact. With a loud *CLANG*, the Alicorn's head was knocked off. Vinyl's head snapped back as the beam hit her, shattering her horn. Edited by FiniteZero, May 15 2015, 04:20 PM.

The Alicorn Armor fell onto its side, motionless. Vinyl's eyes were wide and her mouth was open in a silent scream from the unimaginably intense pain. Blood trickled down from the stump before she passed out. "Vinyl, no!" Octavia cried out as she rushed to be by her side. Twilight noticed the Alicorn Amulet lying next to the husk of machinery. She trotted over, giving it a closer look. "Bravo. You all did far better than I expected." Wrench Works approached the group. "But not better than I had planned for." |

The Alicorn Amulet started to shake, then lept onto Twilight's chest. She let out a startled gasp, then screamed as the Amulet burned her flesh while it attached itself to her. "A genius plan, really. The Amulet needed a host for this to work, and if attached to a Princess I could thus gain control of this nation. I was right; The new era is dawning. An Era of Eternal Twilight. I do wish I could have been the one to come up with this, but I cannot take the credit for the plan. Only the execution." Wrench explained. Twilight's eyes turned from purple to red. "Your majesty." Wrench said as she bowed, her horn alight. "What is your first act as ruler of Equestria?" Twilight slowly turned towards the four musicians, a wicked smile upon her lips. "...no..." Octavia whispered. |

"I don't think so!" Senjin Then began to play a sad, bluesy riff. The sky began to darken. it began to rain. The rain turned into a lot of rain. The lot of rain turned into a small flood, carrying the four musicians away. Senjin then channeled a lightning bolt to strike a tree near Wrench Works and the Twilight Alicorn. Whilst being carried away, Senjin was sad. And Frustrated. They were close. SO. DARN CLOSE. And their efforts were all in vain. |
