Don't close your eyes, don't give into the fright Posts: 7,940 Group: A Rank Legend Member #9,781 Joined: February 21, 2009	Aria stumbled back in surprise and stared at X...er...Demon...she just blinked and then looked to Darkshade unsure of what to do. Darkshade growled and stood square with Demon and glared at him in the eyes, crossing his arms and putting up a forcefield in a type of bubble around all of us. I felt as Aria did the same, their forcefields crossing eachother and knitting a perfect forcefield. Very calmly Darkshade looked at Demon, "You will not wreck this town. However you are free to wreck any other part of the world, especially the factories. However I hereby forbid you from entering this villiage while you are in control of X's body." He spoke calmly and clearly, his voice unwaivering, leaving no room for misunderstanding. He did not appear nervous in the least and he stood like a statue staring at Demon. Aria, on the other hand, had her eyes darting back and forth between Demon and Darkshade, crouched down and ready to fight. I just stood there, my brain was too confused to really understand what was going on and I was very slow to catch up as to what was actually going on.

I turned and crossed my arms, leaning onto one side. X had certainly chosen a nice place to live. I looked to the one called darkshade and the little girl who had hugged X. "What factories are you talking about? I haven't been able to walk freely for years and I can't see what he see's. So forgive me if I'm not very caught up on current events." I took a step closer. "I don't know what opinion you have of me... But just because I look like a bad guy." I smirked, "Doesn't mean I *HAVE* to be a bad guy." I opened my arms, "So tell me gloomy guy. What exactly have I missed in the last decade?"

Darkshade just stared at him, looking him up and down. The force field didn't waiver. He filled Demon in on the last ten years, how factories had begun springing up and how the world was being eaten away. He explained the reason for the village and it's history. "-and by the way." Darkshade was saying, "You're not a bad guy. You're a crazy demon who got sucked into a small boys body and when you're released you let stress out in the worst possible way." he said, almost....kindly....but with the same rough edge to his voice.

I frowned and began a short thought, "However these factories seem to be a bit of a hindrance to me." Being trapped in this body keeps my power at a mere 15% of it's normal output. I don't think I could waste those factories alone. However... "Hey, how about this, Mr. lonesome." I walk up to the edge of the force field and hold out my hand. "How about a truce?" My hand was there, obviously waiting for a handshake. "You seem to have some prior knowledge as to who I am, so I have a feeling you know full well what I'm capable of. However, X's will to keep me in chains seems to be strengthening, even now I can feel myself... beginning to change back." I shook my head, hopefully shaking him off for just a bit longer. "I'd like a little more freedom to do as I please and you need some way to fight back against those factories." a large smile creeped up onto my face, "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

"We will talk more later." Was all that Darkshade said.

It was nice chatting with you all." I waved goodbye and collapsed to my knee's. A deep breath escaped me as I looked around, waiting to see the devastation I caused. However, besides a scorch mark on the ground below me, there was no damage to this town. "Wh...what...?" I looked to see Aria and the girl who had helped me. "Y-You..." I got up slowly as my legs wobbled. "No one's...?" Darkshade, the gloomy looking one stared at me. "Did I do anything...?"
