 There was topic like this (Though you couldn't pick Sonic) but it is old.

Rules:
Don't vote for a character just because of thier games
DON'T like them just because they killed someone you hated

My favourite is Yoshi, I don't know why I just do, maybe it is because he saved Mario and others in SM64DS (Yes I know dumb reason)

This faceless hero can not only wade through countless hellspawn and have the ability to turn them into meaty chunks (with the right drugs of course) WITH HIS FISTS! What more could you want from a hero?

But I have a tie, and I'm sorry if this goes against the rules, but I loved Iron Man as he appeared in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

 Sonic the Hedgehog. Just because of how despite a chain of poorly rated games, the blue blur's character is still cool enough to keep fans buying the games.
Not only that, who else finds out they must venture in the firey depths of a volcano to fight a some fire God, and simply replys "cool"

Sonic will ALWAYS be my top fav, but this is more of a "who else" type thing.

They are awesome.

Oh and R.O.B (He has been in Mario Kart and Brawl so he counts)
