Zed, the tan skinned, black and white furred Neko comments to himself. His hands were tucked in his white short trench coat, which is always mistaken for a lab coat or a medical coat. He wore dark blue casual dress pants, a cargo pocket on the right side that blended in almost completely to the point that it looked like he had hidden pockets along the side of his pants. He wore white medical non-slip sneakers, the only thing that actually gave away his profession. His coat was unbuttoned, revealing a black shirt with a pocket on the left side of his shirt. A small note-pad, cell-phone, and a few pens were held within the pocket. "They asked me, a medic, to tag along with this investigation." His golden eyes shifted to his left as he thought more. "What's the point of bringing a medic if they don't expect this meteorite to much? Are they cautious enough to expect that they someone may get hurt while tampering with it? Or do they believe something alive has touched down." His eyes shifted back to the floor in front of him. His train of thought, along with speaking out loud, came to a halt as he forgot he was with the rest of the team from the space center. They all looked at him as if he was more than weird, some mumbled the words 'crazy' and 'weirdo' but, this didn't phase the Neko much. He has been called worse, a lot worse. "Oddly enough, they picked me over someone with an actual title over there hands... The real question is, do they want my knowledge on medicine, or the spirit realm." At this point the crew slowly gathered some distance from him, to which he ended up placing himself ahead of them once they arrived at the labs. "Wonder what we'll find, or what they have gathered so far." He comments while looking around for a second. He waited to be approached, feeling he might get lost or find himself in some forbidden area that would cause guards to tackle him to the ground. He shuddered at the thought and waited patiently.

Zed replied to Julia, regarding the fact that he was defaulted into being selected, by the sounds of it. Also, should anything happen in his care, such things wouldn't stick to the facility he works for, at least this was his mindset for a reason to be selected. Either way, he has gotten passed the reason why he was picked, but now what to do going forward. On the other hand, Julia mentioned something about a passenger, or some form of higher being controlling the meteorite from within it. Maybe even someone on this planet called for it and made it change direction. "My services...? Which one, if I may ask, are you referring to? Honestly speaking, I have a strange feeling about this... Cold, dark, death... No wait, that was in one of the books I read, sorry, ignore that last comment." He tells her, slightly zoning out when quoting this book he supposedly read.

Pin that as his weird factor xD) Surprised, disturbed, bothered, creeped-out, and most important uncomfortable were Zed's thoughts when his hand was shook by this... Stinging Mage? Singing Mage? Seeing Mage...? Well, obviously that one because, well, he can see. Unless to this mage's knowledge all other mages are blind. Why else would he introduce himself as a seeing mage? "Oh... Greetings..." He slightly replied back as his attention was stolen by the information being given. He nods a few times, placed his fist to his chin as to collect and process, adjust the sleeve of his coat, then continued to stare at the floor. we should be able to work out the impact point rather quickly here, "Really...?" He comments to himself. He looked around for a moment, then eyed this Cade gentlemen. "I'm guessing there is going to a 'safety measure' meeting soon. After all, traveling to an unknown point to investigate an unknown item from an unknown origin could have many unknown risks and dangers... At least, all unknown to us, to speak openly... We are all on the same page here in regards to information and what we will be exploring, correct?" Sure, Zed was a bit nervous about this entire ordeal. For one, he didn't think he matched up to anyone here gathered, yet he'd never tell them this, ever. After all, they brought a singing-seeing-stealing-stun-shrink-mage. Level twenty-three as a matter of fact. Which left Zed with a bit of confusion. He wasn't aware that there were levels to seeing... Or stinging... Whatever it is he proclaimed to be. Also, is twenty-three a high rank, or a newbie rank? "Scrubs, or no-scrubs? Nurse, or doctor?" He comments softly to himself as he placed his index finger to his lips and stared at the ceiling, waiting for a reply.

Of course, we want to be well 'geared up'for the travel." Zed comments, seeing as a few of them were already prepping themselves for the journey there. "Question, if I may... Transportation?" He asked, assuming there would be one, for safety measures of course.

Once he felt the van stop he lifted his head up, rather quickly in fact, which scared all the tiredness out of him. He stretched slightly as he got out and surveyed the area. He then closed his eyes and lifted up his hands a bit, as if trying to sense something in the air, or meditating while standing. "Hmm..." He utters as he opened his eyes. "What have we here?" He adds, feeling odd that he couldn't sense anything from this distance. He figured he needed to get closer, or the current equip displayed all around was interfering. Either way, he slightly grinned at this notion. Not knowing what they were to find excited him, pumping him up until he beat down all thoughts of excitement mentally. He could be hyping himself up for nothing, and then be horridly disappointed. "If nothing means nothing, then my time is nothing but wasted time, nothing more or less." He finishes, then awaits further orders, as he was once again reminded that he wasn't alone and simply couldn't just run off like a fan-girl running towards their idolized group-band.

Or rather, how much?" He adds, now thinking that maybe there wasn't just one rider, but possibly more. "Murder? Suicide? Kamikaze?" He paused again, ignoring everyone no matter if they were listening or not. Finally something clicked in his head, when he heard one of the speak. "Transportation is your main concern? How they arrived is your main concern? What about, why are they here? Why come now? Where were they going and for what purpose?" He asked, to which he paused and formed a twisted smile. "Does it have a soul, and how strong is its spirit energy?" He asked, figuring this is why he couldn't feel anything when he tried scanning for... Whatever it was that was in there. "Yes... Why indeed..." He uttered to himself, ready to follow the crew to this crash site.

'Lets not jump the gun here' is what they called it. Push back every possible aspect for the sake of being right or just for no reason, really. That was until a pretty sound echoed into his ears. Zed slowly turned around, unlike everyone else who responded quicker. Also unlike everyone else, he was the only one that didn't move, or rather didn't have time to, when the solider was hurled at them. "Oof!" He shouts as the body collided with his own. He rolled back a bit as the solider contented its course. He laid on his back as he blinked a few times. He thought he saw a reptile of some sort, thinking for a moment that this being was the cause of the collision that just took place. "Ouch..." He uttered as he quickly sat up. His eyes were playing tricks on him. I mean, they have to be. Why on earth would he be seeing one of his crew-men holding a guitar shaped like an axe, not to mention that the instrument was set on fire. "I think I hit my head or something..." He comments, then realized he wasn't dreaming. It was at this moment that he decided to take action of his own. "Easy your hand, Mage." Zed raised his voice, or at least, a voice coming from him commanded. This voice wasn't his own, and clearly he wasn't speaking these words since his mouth wasn't moving. "Fear swells around it. We may have frightened it, so it is reacting accordingly." He adds, this time his mouth was moving, and that strange voice was gone. By now Zed had gotten up and walked towards Aaron and stood behind him, very close behind him and to his left. "Would you not hurl an armed being if they came approaching without warning, sensing they were trained to take down anything they encountered?" He asked, to which he simply waited for a reply, or be proven wrong by this beings next actions.

The professor was shot. Now Zed realized why they brought him on this little field trip. Instead of rushing or engaging the reptile, Zed did the opposite and hurried over to the professor. He slides to a halt as his eyes quickly scanned for a bullet wound. "Professor, I need you to stay with me, alright?" He started off, regardless if the one he was talking to was dead or alive.

He took his eyes away from the professor to watch the reptile engage the group, or rather the other way around. They seem to be doing poorly as well. "Julia! Give me a hand here! I need to stabilize him so I can attended to the Singing Mage... Whatever he claims to be." He addressed her, feeling like he was needed everywhere, fighting off this thing while also treating the others. "Now professor, this may hurt a bit... A you may feel a lot of pressure." He tells him, redirecting his attention to the task at hand. He quickly fished out the bullet and pulled abruptly, knowing more blood would flow, to which he ripped a large chunk of his sleeve off and applied pressure to the wound. With his other hand he dug into his cargo-like pants pocket to get some kind of ointment.

He tossed it to her and directed her to continue applying pressure. "Count to twenty, then apply this stuff on fast. Don't care how much you use, just cake it on the wound. It'll move on its own so don't be alarmed. Also, it may feel a bit slimy." He instructs her. Once that was said he quickly sprang to his feet and rushed over to the mage. He slides on his knees and stops next to him. "Hey, I need you to bare with me here and stay focused on my voice." He starts off, analyzing him before he even did anything. He noticed his arm and quickly pinned it as broken, maybe just fractured horridly. Either way, he needed to set it. He looked around for something, like a sturdy large twig. It was at this moment that he heard the alien's rambling, and glanced over to see its departure. A bit of anger swelled within Zed. He left like he could of helped in the battle instead of playing doctor. A second thought beat down his anger, thinking that he might of gotten hurt himself. And if the medic is not able to do medic stuff then... Well, everyone would be hurting and no one would be playing doctor. Maybe that other guy who seemed to just watch and do nothing... Yeah, scratch that. "Keep calm, mage. Its not as bad as it feels." He reassured as he continued to look around. "I need something to steady this guy's arm! Also something for him to bit down on! I don't like people screaming in my ear when I snap their bones back into place!" Zed shouts to everyone, wondering who would find these items for him as he started to dig into his pockets yet again.
