Guys. Clearly, Sonic X The Floor is the one true pairing in this franchise. I mean, think about it - he kisses it in practically every game - he even did it twice in Unleashed! That makes it even more legit. In all seriousness, I generally don't ship characters, but I find the relationship between Sonic and Amy in Boom to be kinda cute and borderline shipworthy. Makes me sad that the show doesn't have that much continuity, because I would actually like to see the pairing develop a bit more.

I've also been cool with Tails and Cosmo, Shadow and Rouge, Knuckles and Julie-Su, then there's Vector and Vanilla. Basically all the obvious shippings are what I'm cool with.

Shadow and Maria. Although I think it would be totally one sided, as Maria comes off to me as someone who would be pretty uninterested in romance with Shadow, she would most likely friendzone him.

I actually see Maria would agree with you. That is a lot how I picture their relationship. Maria sees Shadow as a brother or best friend, and Shadow sees her as a very close friend but would probably press for more eventually. Rouge only seems to annoy him, and she is too independent to want to be with anyone like Shadow. She would probably get with some guy who is submissive and give her whatever she wants. Shadow does whatever he wants, and I imagine he would have to be deeply in love with someone to give his actual heart to them. Then again, I am mostly speaking for Sonic Adventure 2 Shadow, as I don't really count any other game-Shadow as the real Shadow.
